Love the spiderman music when you were talking about the vine tech, and the Davy Jones music when you were talking about the maps, nice little touches. The tips were fantastic too

Pip above Seris in healing output? When was that?
@WalnutYellow
Жыл бұрын
Pip has two sources of burst healing and can also heal multiple targets (who don’t have to be right next to each other) at the same time. Seris has a channeled healing ability (downsides of channeled healing were discussed in the video) that can only heal one person at a time and doesn’t actually heal as much as people think

@@WalnutYellow The Seris heal is a group heal. I thought this is based on a statistic.
@WalnutYellow
Жыл бұрын
@@elmercy4968 Seris’s group heal only works when teammates are standing right next to each other. This is rare and impractical in a group setting, especially in faster paced lobbies. You’re right about numbers though. Numbers wise, one could argue that a Seris spamming heals could outheal a Pip spamming heals. However, anti-heal exists. Pip is able to burst heal a teammate in combat with a 2k heal combo in less than a second, while Seris’s channeled heal is rarely fully received without being interrupted by anti-heal.

Remember the pre-nerf days you could duo with pip on support and chain cripple/root? It was so nasty, and fun!

Hello! I love this video and it really helps a lot - thank you very much! I have question: if I need unbound early (like for Vatu), do I finish chronos 3 and then get it, or get full chronks then buy unbound? Also, when should I help my ally with dmg when they're in anti-heal instead of healing them (like if I was playing Io)? Keep up the amazing videos, you're so good at what you do. 🦊

Thanks for the kind words :) You can definitely get chronos and unbound simultaneously (adds up to 500 credits) for round 1, then buy whichever one is more impactful first as you go. I usually get chronos 2 first, then get unbound 2 or morale boost depending on the flank matchup. The beauty of Grover is that you’re able to do both damage and healing at the same time (since it’s not a channeled healing ability like Io’s moonlight). You can heal and fight with your ally. The exception is if you’re using ur ult to save ur teammate, in which case you should ask yourself if the teammate is worth saving (will it win the overall team fight, or just stagger you both?)

@@WalnutYellow ohhh! Thanks! One more thing: if it's channeled healing during a fight, how low should my allies hp be for me to do dmg instead of healing at higher anti-heal?
@WalnutYellow

@@foxythecelestial3015 I don’t think it’s as clear cut as a percentage, because it also depends on who they’re fighting and how much damage they’re about to take. In general though, if you think your heal can save them, then heal them. If they’re going to die regardless, then start shooting

great guide i found too late since vine got nerfed lol now pick up feels less impactful do you think itd be worth it to drop points off it into fatalis?
@WalnutYellow

I think Grover’s still pretty darn strong as a support. His numbers dropped a bit but I still feel like vine spam is the most effective way of staying hypermobile (and therefore staying alive) while also pumping out hella heals.
