Oh boy, here we go again 1. Wimmzies Wimmzies is the best sounding monster in the entire game (in my opinion). Hearing them in the Magical Nexus trailer back in March was the most excited I've ever been for an island in my ~8 years of playing My Singing Monsters. While Withur carries several parts of Magical Nexus, Wimmzies carry all of it. Magical Nexus lacking in vocals was completely resolved by the inclusion of a vocal monster who not only plays for most of the song, but also has one of (if not) the most heavenly verses in the whole game. It is dumbfounding that they made Wimmzies carry Magical Nexus as hard as they did. 2. Withur Gloptic might be my favorite monster on Magical Nexus, but I can't deny thay Withur and Wimmzies add more to the song. It's honestly crazy how much Withur stands out compared to the 31 other monsters on Magical Nexus. She carries the Denchus verse, buildup verse, AND (arguably) also the beat drop verse. I genuinely cannot believe they made Withur sound on-par with her track on Bone Island, but they did it. 3. Gloptic Gloptic is one of my top 2 favorite monsters of all time thanks to this island. Gloptic (alongside Floot Fly) makes Magical Nexus sound beautiful, ancient, and whimsical in a way that honestly had me flabbergasted the first time I heard it. Now that Gloptic is not unhearable, it really gets its chance to shine here. 4. Floot Fly Absolutely gorgeous-sounding. Floot Fly makes the whole song sound like I'm walking through the middle ages and arguably carries every verse it plays in. Absolutely zero complaints here; he sounds flawless. 5. Banjaw I LOVE BANJAW. I'm so glad Banjaw no longer simply copies Peckidna and actually gets a spotlight of its own. Banjaw being the perfect mix of a silly little guy and a terrifying abomination has always appealed to me, and I love how expressive it is here. 6. TooToo TooToo on Magical Nexus legitimately has the best animations out of any monster, ever. Super expressive, adorable, and amazing-sounding as always. TooToo got a huge glow-up here and adds so many nice touches to the song. 7. Periscorp Finally, a percussion monster that is neither generic nor unhearable! As per usual, Periscorp sounds great. Not much else to say. 8. Flouress One of the best monsters of all time (in my opinion), Flouress plays through so much of Magical Nexus that it's honestly crazy how underrated she still is. Absolutely majestic. 9. Blow't Huge glow-up from Light Island. He absolutely carries the Denchus verse, and sounds pretty good in the buildup and beat drop as well. 10. Fiddlement While not as good as on Light Island, Fiddlement is (in my opinion) a slightly better Rooba here. Is sounds less shrill and really helps make the (already rather empty-sounding) buildup verse feel more full 11. Gob Gob really adds so much bass to the song and makes the Wimmzies verse sound super ominous. 12. Uuduk The foundation of Magical Nexus, Uuduk plays the most out of any monster on Magical Nexus. I'm so glad it got its time to shine here. 13. Rooba While I prefer Rooba on Psychic Island and am not a huge fan of its first track, it plays such a huge role in adding to the mystique of Blow't's verse. Not to mention the buildup with Fiddlement? Pretty good if I do say so myself. 14. Peckidna Literally everything I said about Denchus applies to Peckidna. I hated Peckidna and expected it to sound goofy. Instead, it fits wonderfully somehow. 15. Denchus Denchus used to be one of my least favorite monsters ever. It completely ruined Phangler's verse on Bone Island for me, which is why I was horrified for its appearence on Nexus. But oh my god. They actually made them fit? And sound good? Again, they made goofy, ill-fitting monsters actually FIT IN with such a beautiful song. For that, I commend the composer. 16. Pladdie I am SO GLAD Pladdie doesn't play much here. A loud, shrill bagpipe simply does not suit the the mystical vibe of Magical Nexus, and I am very very grateful that he plays in the part of the song where he actually fits nicely. 17. Plinkajou Nice little dings. 18. Poppette Poppette is NOT generic, and it definitely has had a massive glow up on Magical Nexus. She adds so much weight to the beat drop, and just much of the song in general. 19. Clavi Gnat I wouldn't mind if Clavi Gnat were excluded from the song, but personally I enjoy the little touches it adds. Definitely a downgrade from Faerie Island, but still a unique sound that I don't mind. 20. Pluckbill Pluckbill is so catchy here! While yes, it is quiet, I can't help but love its little riff during the Cantorell verse. 21. Yuggler Yuggler is nice. I like its little dings, and they add a shocking amount to the song. Basically just a better Tring. 22. Spytrap Spytrap adds a lot of weight to Wimmzies' verse, which is nice. But again, another generic percussionist. 23. Bonkers One of the better generic percussionists on Magical Nexus. Still generic, though. 24. Clackula Clackula has a lot of tracks here, and I've always liked him. Too bad he's literally unhearable/I never tend to notice him. Bonus points for playing a unique instrument, though. 25. Squot The second most forgettable generic percussionist on Magical Nexus. 26. Theremind I really dislike the way Theremind sounds, but that's just a personal preference. Theremind is a good addition (and quite frankly one of my favorite monsters ever), but its verses on Magicap Nexus just aren't for me. 27. Tapricorn I'm not a big fan of this one, and it's only ranked this high because it's catchy as hell. Not bad, I just don't really care. 28. Hawlo The most forgettable of the generic percussionists on Magical Nexus. 29. Bulbo A bit overhated, Bulbo DOES add to the song. It's just extremely forgettable, and I think people mix those two things up. 30. HippityHop Not terrible, but I could do without it. Still, I think this is the beest way they could've integrated hippityHop into the song. 31. Cantorell Cantorell sounds bad, but, to be fair, I can appreciate the fact that the composer acknowledged that Cantorell wouldn't work well on such a majestic island and only made it play briefly. 32. Bridg-it I absolutely hate this track- especially compared to its whimsical and calming presence on Faerie Island. Not only is it slightly offbeat, but it also steals Banjaw's spotlight. Super unnecessary addition to the parts of the song it plays, and, like I said, it obstructs Banjaw.

Tootoo… just because you hate the design doesn’t matter it’s about the sound….. I mean I hate the design too, but I love it, it carries the song
