Love the ranking video here Cody & appreciate the shoutout! Definitely agree with the Ritz & Aspire being S-Tier, and totally understand your reasoning for ranking the IHG Cards so high as well. The Wyndham Earner Business is definitely an interesting one that I honestly didn't know too much about but can be great for status matching. Great video!

Appreciate you watching! And no problem, I’ve always enjoyed your videos. Ritz and Aspire are no brainers, but I’ve only recently grown to IHG thanks to my dad being a loyalist and the Premier having so much outsized value for $99. Thanks Matt!

Love the ranking video here Cody & appreciate the shoutout! Definitely seems like you are very high on IHG and explained why you are with all of those additional benefits. I definitely agree with the Ritz & Aspire being S Tier, and the Wyndham Earner Business is definitely a Card that I honestly didn't know much about but can be great for status matching!

Nice video. I'd probably rank IHG cards with free nights at A tier since while both cards are a great value IHG doesn't quite have the best luxury footprint with just the Intercontinental hotels, Kimpton, and Six Senses in their portfolio. Also, the $50 United travel bank credit is not long term bankable as they do expire after roughly 6 months after each bi-annual credit is issued. It's great if you fly twice a year on United/Star Alliance flights but not as good as if the credits had a much longer expiration date.

Appreciate it! I agree and wish IHG had a larger luxury footprint, but I was doing research and they’re rapidly expanding Regent and of course Intercontinentals, so I think they could be a real player in the coming years. As for the card, it’s really the outsized value you get for $99. A free night, high status, global/TSA, 4th night free, and the united travel bank as the cherry on top. $25 isn’t much but you’re already getting so much value plus a little united discount? Why not!

RC Gang! I’ve basically gotten $450 in value from lounge access already this year. Don’t sleep on that $28-$30 per person restaurant credit. And yea - those mid tier Marriott cards are absolute trash! They need to at least follow the surpass playbook.

Ritz is insane! So easy to get outsized value with that card. Marriott following the surpass with their mid tier cards would actually be really intriguing! Could potentially make them worth it 👀

Not persuaded by the ranking. Which of them you actually used? There must a degree of objectivity on why S-rank, etc. Just sharing the benefits as written online but not the point-cent equivalent felt rushed, uncomprehensive, and not well-thought. This is fitting a lot in a short video.

@@pisay I have the main hotel keeper cards and have talked to many others about basically every card I mentioned. Of course, this is an opinionated video so not everyone will agree and that’s totally fine! I tried basing this list off of value received from the card for the average person. Typically with hotel cards, the goal isn’t to use them on everyday spend as their point values/multipliers aren’t worth it. The benefits and credits are the main value point. Just a fun tier list video, nothing too serious! Appreciate the feedback

Not gonna lie that bait and switch thumbnail is bush league. Not sure why you feel the need to mislead your opinion other than to drum up views. I agree with most of what you have here but yeah really don’t like that misleading thumbnail.
