For me I think Mudryk and Enzo are As cause we know what these guys are capable off, we just need to look away from their price tag for a min and give them a lil bit of time to blend in.. Their sure going to produce that performance over the years on their deal.. Also Mudryk was out due to sickness, the weather seemed too cold for him, again he needs time to adapt.

Thing regardless of their transfer fee many of Chelsea's transfer target could end up being a B at least. The likes of Enzo, Badiashile, Fofana, Felix [if signed permanently], Mudryk and Nkunku are surely A/A+, Cucurella x Koulibaly could redeem themselves x Noni could end up being much better than expected. All this is dependent of Potters ability to get a tune out of them though. Fingers crossed

Chelsea's January window cost more than all the best players in PL history combined yet most signings are players we never knew existed a year ago. £300M spent doesn't mean £300M in quality.

I get this is supposed to circumnavigate FFP in the way they've brought in a lot of these signings. But doesn't the fact they are paying them over a long period of time just mean that if a some of these transfers aren't successful, they are just going to be paying off huge fees for players who have underperformed for the best part of the next decade ? I'm not sure I understand it perfectly but it seems a risky strategy long term.

i think gusto is a great signing, they either sell him on for the same money or most likely more in a couple years, or they keep him and he plays half the season as james is out half the season. I don’t think they’d buy him if james was always fit but he’s not so he’s the cover, if james was fit they’d buy someone cheaper

It's not about how much they spent but whether these signings will be worth the investment. Only time will tell which is why most of the contracts given were 7 year contracts. However there best signing so far since the Todd Boehly takeover has been Benoit Badiashile. He has been incredible in defence so far. Looking forward to when the forwards gel and connect. There is something special cooking at Chelsea Football Club whether you are a fan of them or not.

Other than Enzo and Mudryk you can't really see where the rest of the money is gone, majority of them arent world class and are potentials = time, which he doesn't have, money would of been better spend on Rice, Bellingham to sort out the midfield and someone like Kane, really shocked they havent sorted the striker position out (Felix is not a striker).

Tony Cascarino said this morning about Winford Bogards time at Chelsea and that's exactly what's going to happen with a lot if these players. But instead of a 4 year contract it will be 7 and 8 years.

I find it funny that Chukuemeka will be the only A on your list. Is it because he's British? He's a C for me. I think some Felix, Joao and Enzo are A list as well. Let's revisit this at the end of the season.

Chelsea are all-time top Premier League spenders, with €3 billion spent since 2002. If not spent wisely, the club can get into real trouble. I am particularly skeptical of Boelhy's transfer policy and doubt whether the aggressive spending is sustainable.

I love it when they have JLA on. He talks sense and bases his opinions on facts, where as the others say either hyperbolic opinions based on feeling or just make stuff up. The difference really shows. JLA could have spoken for hours about the issues with Koulibaly and Spencer et al would still put him in C because of his name alone. Bin off the rest, get JLA to host with people like him and you might get a few more eyes on the shows.

Very generous on a lot of those. The mere fact that so many of those signings are directly competing for the same position means that several are guaranteed to flop. Not many outright bad players, but a lot of average or bad signings. I think Badiashile goes to A and Koulibaly goes to D. Cucurella is an E. Sterling is a D. Mudryk is a C. Madueke is a D. Felix is an E. enzo can maybe be moved up to A. To be very clear this isn’t so much a measure of them as players, but a rating on the teansfers. For example, Mudryk has to be a C because he was very well scouted… by Arsenal. Chelsea have blown a huge fee on a player because Arsenal wanted him, not because he fits the system that the manager wants to play. In doing so they have also limited the chances of the likes of Madueke and Sterling, who will never be the priority over him due to the fee. It’s just awful business all around for some genuinely good players.

Cucarella is still a good player i think. He is just losing confidence and he always want to play so safe that would rather always back pass than attack. He is good at defending but he should take some risk and sometimes play more offensive.

Felix in D is a harsh one. He got a red in his debut so hasn't played but looked so much better than Havertz has for quite a while. He isn't an out and out striker but if Chelsea sign him permanently I expect they will sell Havertz. The fact hes not played much yet puts him in C with others where they have benefit of the doubt.

I don't quite understand the "Chelsea don't have a strategy for transfers" narrative. In the summer, the idea was to back Tuchel and he was supposed to deliver immediately, given the lengths the ownership went to satisfy his demands (signing Auba, selling players like Gilmour). I do think his sacking came a bit too soon, but it suggests to me that there was already a backup plan ready (that would have ideally been a plan A if Tuchel had left right after Roman) - get a manager who has a successful record finding and improving young players and then, back him by purchasing the best young talent. It's really that simple lol. Whether it works or not will be a whole other story.

Badashaile 💯 Enzo is 💯 as well.. long-term output from Enzo & Chelsea's growing fan base, will be worth it. Boehly and team are not trying to look weak in any way. They've crossed the pond, now swimming with different sharks.. I think people miss with the auba signing that it seemed like the ownership trying to throw Tuchel a bone to see if he would work with them and it failed. They hoped he would be happy with that and get onboard and it immediately flopped. I blame Tuchel more than Chelsea for that one
