Shores Of Gold Saga: Shroudbreaker: Decent tale, works well for introductions, I enjoy the way it utilizes unmarked islands. The Cursed Rouge: Briggsy is pretty neat, though skeleton lords aren't very interesting, but I do sort of feel bad for her. I enjoy listening to skeletons talk about this and that, though. The Legendary Storyteller: No, I don't think I want to remember that particular tale. Stars Of A Thief: Not bad, though the puzzles can be somewhat difficult to figure out. Mid-tier tale, not the worst or the best. Wild Rose: Good music, decent story. I enjoy how it sets up the Morningstar portion, and Rooke's story is interesting to me. Art Of A Trickster: Very fun tale. Good puzzles with the alternate map/clue styles, the journals are easy and quite entertaining, and the traps are quite fun. I like the surprise in the vault at the end. Tale Of The Morningstar: Cool and interesting concept, very cool to see Greymarrow doing as he does. I like how it's pretty much contained to one gargantuan island, though I wish Greymarrow's ship showed up. Revenge Of The Morningstar: Decent tale. The lore it has is nice and Greymarrow himself is pretty funny, and the lines are interesting from the skeleton crews, but I don't enjoy the outfit section or having to repeat Cursed Rouge. Shores Of Gold: Like Tale Of The Morningstar and Art Of A Trickster but even better. One massive island to solve and track stories and journals across, and then a trap section with interesting callbacks to the books and varied experiences. Seabound Soul Saga: The Seabound Soul: Decent tale. Wish the introduction actually showed the lantern being passed around, like Jack's compass is in the most recent tales, but it could be worse I suppose. Nice to see Pendragon, not nice to sail for years in the Devil's Roar, neat ending. I like it overall but it's not the best. Heart Of Fire: Interesting and fun, with the alternate trap style, and I like how the traps are made from Ashen Winds skulls, and the visuals are absolutely amazing. Stitcher Jim's part is... eh, could be worse, not the memorable part. Maiden Voyage: Fun, good to explore, I love it and play it when bored sometimes. The ending is, of course, amazing, but yeah it's not a perfect tutorial. It leaves the player to be taught or discover other mechanics on their own. A Pirate's Life Saga: A Pirate's Life: A great start, with the introduction to the Sea of the Damned in a different way, and I like the town of Sailor's Grave immensely. Running around and piecing together the pieces of the puzzle is fun and interesting for the commendations, but the Cursed Captain himself is kind of annoying after leading more than a dozen crews of friends through the tale. His lines to help you find things like Doug are also somewhat inconsistent. The Mad Monkey has amazing music. The fight at the end, eh. Not the worst but not the best. Two unsinkable ships pummeling each other with no damage. The Sunken Pearl: While it's a good tale, it's notoriously glitchy. Of course, without that, it's absolutely amazing, though the battles themselves are logically cool but in practice less so - the kraken doesn't really do much, only attacking on one way at a time and not defending itself whatsoever, and the Siren Queen feels like a waterborne skeleton lord reskin - a big health pool and a couple of somewhat unique moves with nothing interesting other than context and lore. The environment, the music, and the puzzles are all amazing though. Captains Of The Damned: Fun somewhat. The Whispering Bayou is some very nice worldbuilding, the fort is really fun, and I do love that rendition of Hoist The Colors. But the town, a bit less so. I like the castle, but the lines constantly repeating - from the soldiers, the citizens, the pirates, the auctioneers, and so on, just gets grating even in one playthrough. It also feels too linear to be realistic. Following the Black Pearl is neat and all, but the way it just sort of sticks cutscenes in your face isn't ideal. I do like the concept of interfering with ghostly memories, though, that's neat. Dark Brethren: Interesting, very interesting. Good lore reveals, I loved boarding the Dutchman and the battle. The fortress is quite interesting, I do like its atmosphere. Some of the commendations feel kind of pointless. The battles are definitely the highlight. Lords Of The Sea: A very interesting tale. I do enjoy how they call in the support of ghost crews, and the shifting priorities of the battle are quite cool - some of my friends who react for the first time to these things are quite enamored by the siren statues. I enjoy it, although the battle can be somewhat hard to survive if your crew is bad or too small for your ship, even with Jack's help. Climbing the spire is neat but not revolutionary, the final battle isn't worth much. I kind of like the dialogue at the end, and the storm changing with the battle is also cool.

In my opinion Lords of the Sea is the best in SoT, because it truly unites the characters from SoT with the PoTC to a common goal. and because at the end part of the characters from SoT went to the PoTC word. So it's a true crossover between the two

I think Revenge of the Morningstar is pretty similar to Cursed Rogue, but I like it because some of the things it helped set up for later like… The introduction of Graymarrow who was used for trapping Pendragon for Seabound Soul, also he’s the boss of the fort of the damned, etc And also the skeleton language which led to the recent runes and stuff

The skeleton language is a very good addition, and Greymarrow has been almost as oppressive a force as Flameheart, so it was pretty good for that. Greymarrow's voice lines are also hilarious.

The 5. Potc tale is overrated, its just a easier flameheart event. Okay the black pearl was awsome, but the rest...

I know right? I don’t get why so many people say it’s the best tall tale. The beginning is fun and the end is a spectacle but the middle feels really messy. It just kinda feels like things happen because video games and loses the feel of tall tales

I actually don't know, why people likes Art of the trickster so much. The keg key is literally the worst thing in all the tell Tales. And you need to bring it all over the map to Sailors Bounty, suprise skeleton attacks are mostly deadly to it and after they implemented phantoms and the ocean crawlers the tale gets even harder and unfair. After that Part the tell tale gets very solid with the lair captain and the vault, but that makes it not top tier.

I would rate the shores of gold tall tale as absolutely terrible. Its such a boring tall tale, and the boss is just a giant bullet sponge which takes 2h to kill...
