I buy a turkey year round because i can. I cook it in an oven roasting bag with the breast upside down on a bed of onions and carrots and stuff it with multiple sticks of butter. The turkey breast boils in the butter and turkey juices. It is juicy and tender. The skin on the legs stays nice and crispy. My mom taught me this

A couple other ways to fix catfish. Dipped in egg, then pork panko and fried in bacon grease. ... And boiled then dipped in butter. Yum! ... I too was raised on fish deep fried, but have came to learn new ways worth while.

Hey, Reid! I’m with you on the crab 🦀 vs lobster 🦞. I prefer crab over lobster, any day of the week!

Well, that was fun. My top tier looks like yours: ground beef, steaks, shrimp. I'd have eggs on that platform as well. All beef hot dogs get a higher rating from my perspective. At least an "A". Good to see you; have a great weekend. 🙂

Reid, I have a couple things to share with you. I hope you are willing to listen and hopefully you will follow through. The first thing is that I have watched your videos for a long time now. You are super talented as a chef! That's for sure and I love all your recipes! They seem to come natural to you! Second thing is this: I watched one of your videos from about a year ago and you talked about not being able to stay on this Carnivore Diet for more than a few days. Well, I am here to share some very powerful information with you (and no, I am not selling anything. I am just a good person in a crappy world, 😁and I do nice stuff when I can). So, I would like to tell you that your inability to stay on Carnivore is most likely not your fault and is probably due to the "bacteria" you are MISSING in your gut! Yes! I'll get to that again in a minute, but want to share a third thing as well. You see, there could be several things going on in you. 1 you are probably lacking a huge variety of bacterias in your gut. 2 the "desire" to eat (in many cases almost relentlessly) is due to "what is put into the foods we eat!" The manufacturers put "additives, flavors, colors, and a ton of artificial 'stuff' " into the foods we eat, claiming they are "preservatives", when in actuality they are "addictive drugs!". Yep! So, we become "junkies" off the polluted foods we eat. Addicted to 'something' in the foods, yet we do not even know we are addicted to anything! All we know is that food somehow makes us feel better! What our body is craving is the 'drugs' they put in the food! So, we eat this and then that and just can't seem to get the 'fix' we 'need'! It seems we are hungry all the time, but in actuality our body is seeking the 'drugs' it needs that have been put into the foods we eat! Make sense? So, we eat and eat and eat and feel like we cant stop eating! We really do not want the food! We want the drug that we do not know we are addicted to that is 'in' the food! Ok, so I want to say you are normal, but do need help and that is why I am writing to you. So, no one else really knows about the drugs they put in the foods (yet), but it will come out in the near future. For the moment, I want to say that there is help, but you gotta want it! Here is a link to a Dr. that I came across on YT. He teaches how to get rid of the 'visceral' fat that most of us pack around and explains what it does and on and on. I am asking you to please watch this video, take notes, then subscribe to his channel and watch as many other videos as you need! I am reaching out to you because I believe this is your ticket. Why? Well, I will just say God sent me. Not much else I could claim. Just please watch his videos and learn that you are alright. You are just food poisoned and there is hope. Ok, here is the link. kzitem.info/news/bejne/ro2ssYl_hXSmlqQsi=jr_wNCWFvS8IWtK9 Have a blessed day Reid! I love watching you cook! You are so good at it! Be blessed! Sorry, the bacteria you are missing comes from small amounts of 'fermented" foods. Once a healthy gut bacteria is established, the cravings for crap foods will stop. Please start that video at the beginning. I do believe it will start at the end. Be blessed!

Oops. I forgot to get to the bacteria part in your gut. If you are lacking "certain" bacteria in your gut, your body will crave crap food! Establish the proper gut bacteria through eating small amounts of 'fermented' foods (both veggies and fruit, plus keifer and aged cheeses) and your desire to eat and eat will quell. The major bacteria in our gut determine 'what' we 'want to eat' and 'how often'! True! So Dr. Sean O'Mara talks all about all these things in his videos and tells us how he transformed his entire body and now helps others transform theirs! You might have to re-wind the video to the beginning (or force it to start at the beginning!). Be blessed Reid! You are super talented!

I forgot to mention the "missing bacteria". Dr. Sean talks about needing the proper bacteria in our guts. He claims we can get these proper bacteria by eating small amounts of 'fermented' fruit, vegetables, keifer and aged cheeses. When we have these proper bacteria in our guts, and they are well established, our "cravings" for carb-laiden crap food stops! Just please watch his videos and take notes! Be blessed Reid! (I posted another reply but it disappeared, so sorry if it shows 2 of them. I feel I need to get the information to you.)

I mostly agree with you. For the shellfish, I'd say hardshell crab is more fun to eat than shrimp and even lobster. but my preferences goes Lobster, shrimp, crab. Muscles are delish, but I got very sick off of them in France years ago and never again. hot dogs... I buy a Boarshead hotdog that is pretty clean and really tasty. I never was a hotdog gal until I tried the boarshead. And it is so quick and easy if I forgot to thawa something out. So I would rate it higher for that reason. Sometimes I have it like a german sausage with saurkraut and mustard, and I do enjoy that. Lamb... I do like it, but feel like I couldn't eat it every day or even every week. but it is good to change things up sometimes

Oysters on god tier. I was born & raised in France, Atlantic coast so ate them very often. Clear ones raw, not milky ones. Lobster better than crab IMO so S. Turkey in C & Hot dog in D.

My brother was married in Salt Lake City in 1992 and while I was staying at the Best Western tried the Halibut special and was hooked. Unfortunately, Halibut is an expensive fish in North Carolina( usually over $ 20 /pd ).

@nickelndime5 Sounds about right. I ordered 2 lbs of halibut cheeks from Seattle Fish Co. Straight off the boat shipped to to GA for abt 100.00 total. I believe they were 30.00 a lb plus 65.00 shipping. It was a birthday gift for someone. The best $100 I've spent in a while. The cheeks are like gold. Tastes just like scallops but better.
