Amazing collection Ru La! I got to say my favourite out of the kits was the Desert Korp Radio car, it is a value for money kit and a nice set for any Deserts foxes vs desert rats moc. Out of your minifigs I loved the British Yomper, the falklands war is one of the lesser known wars which finally gets it's attention. Your final and number one kit was amazing, I remember watching your older videos which were all about trains and it brought me flashbacks! Keep up the good work Ru La, I wish you the best!

Thanks for commenting and thank you watching my older stuff John. I do want to get back to making a bit more of trains videos. I have some BMR rolling stock kits that I would love start building at some point, and I also got disney train to build. With how much I love lego trains S160 usatc had to be my #1 kit that I own. It was actually also my 1st one, I forgot to mention that in the vid. And I agree kfz2 afrikakorp is a nice little kit with awesome minifigs, and great moc potential. It made it to my top 5 lol Cant agree more Yoper is one of my favorites as well. Very detailed and nicely made fig. Happy to have it in my collection

What's the printing quality is it like Lego or Citizen brick or is it different ?
@Rula2020
2 жыл бұрын
Print quality is pretty good. However, its UV printed unlike Lego and some of the Citizen brick where I believe figs are pad printed. With UV printing I noticed that prints are a bit more reflective on the light, but otherwise it looks very good

How much cheaper is it to buy instructions and then buy the parts on bricklink, cause the kit prices are insanely expensive for my budget.
@Rula2020
Жыл бұрын
Well to answer in short its about 30-50% cheaper from original kit price. In long, depends on factors such used/new parts or rare parts/colors availability. Used parts can make it really cheap, but i wouldn’t recommend buying used parts due discoloration, clutch issues and potential damage. In general I found its much cheaper to use digital instructions for more common colored parts like grey or black, even when buying new parts. For example I was able to build F-14 with mostly brand new parts + instructions + stickers and shippings for around 320 usd, original kit msrp was 720 or so. But some cons with digital instructions are that you dont get printed parts, minifigs, printed manual and also i think resale value is not the same in case you want to sell the kit later.
@bruhdealer3505
Жыл бұрын
@@Rula2020 oh thank you so much, i wasnt willing to spend that kind of money on a kit despite the fact that its (kinda?) deserving. I respect brickmania's work but I just cant afford to fullfil my desire of collecting military vehicles with those prices. Ill make sure and check for instructions cause now Im excited!
@Rula2020
Жыл бұрын
Yeah brickmania collecting is def an expensive hobby. And I’ve been slowing it down as its not the most responsible way to be spending. So if you wanna keep the cost down (relative speaking as lego is still pretty expensive) and go down this rabbit hole then digital instructions is a good and the most cost effective way to do it!

@@bruhdealer3505 Yeah man this stuff is fun. I ve been enjoying building, displaying and even sharing it here my experience with lego and brickmania.
