I studied abroad for a semester in England and when I found out there was no ranch dressing there and no one had ever heard of it up there I was a bit upset. Also, in the UK Doritos Ranch is called Doritos Coolers Original (or maybe Original Coolers). When a British friend said he had no idea what that meant, I told him in the US it was called Ranch. When he asked what Ranch was, the only thing I could say was it's a type of salad dressing/dip.

Mix it into the cream cheese for Jalapeno Poppers. Put it in Buffalo Chicken Dip. Use it to season chicken for baking or grilling, for vegetables that you're roasting. It's a very versatile seasoning mix. And yes, I am old enough to remember Wishbone from PBS, but I haven't thought of that show in years LOL.

This was fantastic! Ranch is my go-to dressing. We have 3 different kinds in the fridge right now - Ken's, Olive Garden & Tony Chachere's (they make an excellent Cajun ranch that really adds a little bit of flavor to a salad).

I’ll have to try the Olive Garden ranch, but I was not shocked to see Ken’s placing so high, it’s just such a good ranch

Ranch is Californian, as I recall. Prior to that the rest of us had buttermilk dressing which was pretty much ranch till Hidden Valley exploded. Hidden Valley is the best when you make it from scratch.

Ken’s is the best non-perishable brand of ranch. Absolutely can’t beat homemade! But my #2 is Litehouse ranch.

As a mid westerner, the best vessel for the ranch is pretzel crisps.

You crack me up and make me smile, but I never thought about the Olive Garden ranch dressing being a contender before, so you did great service today, lol

Rhode Islander here, I'm not a big fan of ranch. But I don't mind using it as a dip for potato puffs, fries or vegetables. My youngest daughter likes its and she's buys the hidden valley kind. My husband is a Ken's brand for blue cheese salad dressing

Way back when I was a kid and we're going way back my mom used to make ranch dressing using the ranch mix but she would use buttermilk instead of regular. Some of the best ranch I've ever had.

Love the ranking vids!! You should do some try vids of just trying things you haven't tried before. Your reactions and explanations are the best

You know what absolutely delights me in your videos... well, one of the great many things that delight me in your videos... is you saying "thow" instead of "throw." My dad's family has always done that, especially in the context of "thow up." It makes me smile every time. ^_^
