I would have to agree about the 2000 Grinch being played by Jim Carrey being ranked number one. We actually got a back story that made sense. He was a small child, who seemed happy and joyful but grew more and more bitter because of the bullying. His love for Max is his redeeming quality, and the way he saved Cindy is another redeeming quality. Honestly he is not even evil he is just a depressed man. It's also number one to me because it wasn't only Jim Carrey who found the costume uncomfortable but the other who actors were uncomfortable in their make up and said it smelled like Sulfur. The only reason Cindy Lu's actress didn't have to wear prosthetics was because she was too young and they explained this in the movie. Fun fact Ron Howard also snuck his family into the movie, his son was the Mayor's Lacky, his daughter was in the background and he snuck himself in the movie as well. Matthew Morrison is just weird as hell, and it makes him seem like he was horny all the time just based off those clips alone. Bennedict Cumberbatch was a good choice but misdirected his British accent would have made his performance come off as less whiny. The 1960's version is great but the 2000 version for the win.

Nice video, I love the story of the Grinch movie from the 2000s, this is definitely one of my favorites, not only for the nostalgia but also for the iconic scenes, details, wonderful script, and how perfectly perfect the movie is.

My favorite version of the Grinch is Jim Carrey's Grinch film. It's a childhood favorite of mine that I still really enjoy. It's one of my top 2 favorite Christmas films, the other one being Batman Returns.
