Yeah.....they pretty much jammed the entire population of Argentina into that stadium. The crowds that turn out in South America are hype AF. Another cut from this show...."The Jack". Go watch it. I'll wait😁.

The devil horns came about as part of the album cover of Highway to Hell, but the merchandising of the light up horns didn't come about until years later. Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar on the left side of the drums) was Angus Young's (lead guitar) older brother and died from dementia. If you watch the concert video back carefully, you can actually see the camera shaking due to the people jumping around. One gig they played they had 27 noise complaints, and the vibrations were picked up on a seismograph. People could hear the concert from 4 miles away. If you chance to see them live like I have you might want earplugs......my ears were ringing for 5 days after the show.

Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! Just so you know AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸

Angus Young is wearing horns because of the name of the song. It's called "Hells Bells." So that's why he's wearing them. He's just being silly! 2:48 The band member that passed away was Malcolm Young. He was Angus's Youngs brother. He passed away from a drug overdose. Yeh there was over 200,000 people there! And River Plate is in Argentina.

Malcolm Young on rhythm guitar passed away. He was older brother of lead guitarist with the horns, Angus. Poor Malcolm developed dementia and had to retire after this. Remembering the chords and famous riffs he created became difficult for a time leading up to this.

there is about 225 thousand at this concert, ha. If you want to see a big crowd, check out Metallica in Moscow, Russia 1991, it will blow you mind. They quit counting people that day when it reached 1.6 million and that crowd has about 2.2 million at it. It's just an ocean of fans, ha

Yes I know some purist’s will say that Dave Evans was the first singer but he lasted about as long as a cup of coffee!!!!!! For a reason!!!!!! Bon is the man!!!!! He helped write sooooo many great songs with Angus and Malcom and his penmanship was outstanding!!!!! His showman ship as you just experienced is off the charts!!!! BTW The Canning Highway is in Perth Western Australia where Bon lived and there is a statue of him in Fremantle and he is also buried in Fremantle So says Austin Tx!!!!😎🍸

Just so you know hombre the “Highway to Hell” was the nickname for the “Canning Highway” in Perth Western Australia. Bon Scott the original singer who passed in early 1980, would travel it to go to a 70’s rock n roll pub. Many people were killed by driving fast through that intersection at the top of the hill on the way for a good night out!!!!!! It amazes me to this day how many Christian ppl in the United States tried to ban the lads from radio air play and selling their albums as being devil worshipers and singing the devils praises!!!!!! Christians can be Amazing sometimes!!!!! Just saying!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!!😎🍸

The band themselves has stated that Highway to Hell was written about touring and the hard life on the road non-stop. I've read it in Guitar magazines back in the 90s and VH1 ACDC behind the music it is stated that is what it's about from the band.

I attended the "Highway to Hell" celebration in Perth, Western Australia, in 2021. They closed off the Canning Highway from the Canning Bridge to Fremantle (approx. 10 miles). Hotels, clubs and restaurants along the route did AC/DC themes and trucks carried live tribute bands along the highway playing as they went. Great day and night. Rocked on to a band called Maverick at the Raffles Hotel until the wee hours!!

That crowd is normal for a rock concert. If they are great such as, AC DC, Van Halen, Def Leopard etc. 60,000 to 70,000 rock fans having fun. Saw AC DC twice and it was nuts !!!
