Not Nick and Cardi....Toure, literally all the "Paper Bag Test" female rappers who were literally chosen for not being fully Blk and being blow up dolls for BLACK MALES. Y'all want to have this conversation without being honest about WHO PUT THOSE GIRLS THERE AND WHY IT IS YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE BLACK MALD LED INDUSTRY'S FOUNDATIONAL MISOGYNOIR. If YO YO were speaking facts, she would highlight the MEN CHOOSING TO ELEVATE THESE WOMEN based on their internalized Colorism. I'm tired of the older women artists doing BM's dirty work of ignoring DECADES of FOUL AND DISGUSTING BLACK MALE RAP only to scold what BM CULTURE HATH WROUGHT. *They used Yo Yo to defeat our elders trying to save us from Gangsta rap with the Cingressional hearings and here she is again on this hypocritical BS right now when she was defending LUKE and Gangsta rap back in the day. I get that this is a clip, but the way this broken community works, Yo Yo will not hold BLACK MALE DECISION-MAKERS IN THE INDUSTRY ACCOUNTABLE because we are trained to never hold thrm accountablefor anything as a group. Pure cowardice and dishonesty.*

Yes. Exactly 💯. These females, I won't call them rappers or MCs, all rap about the same thing. What made Lil Kim unique back then was she was the only female who was rapping about freaky ish but also changed it up with other songs. The girls now only rap about sucking, nasty sexual activity, and money. SexxyRedd is the perfect example of trash females trying to rap today. Terrible. She's the female Soulja Boy.

@@ZEBEEtheoriginalFirst and foremost let me check you because you are way out of line! These young female rappers aren't just being influenced by some of the wrong males, they are also being influenced by some of the wrong females. What you fail to understand and realize is this you have to be around the right people. Your circle of friends and your circle of business partners. From your agent, manager, publicist etc. There have been many male and female artist who have been given extremely bad advice and suggestions from the wrong people. If some of these young female rappers had the correct mentors be it male or female it would motivate them to change and be better music artist. How dare you try to come for YO-YO for no reason! She is telling young women that they can do better and be better. She is giving great advice and suggestion. And lastly if a person really doesn't care about you and what you do they will just tell you anything instead of telling you the truth. At the end of the day would you rather a mentor be telling you or your son/daughter a lie or the truth. Your issue is you have a problem with the truth being told. Which leads me to see how your mentality is. The reason why some of these females are in this predicament is not just because of some men, but because of some women just like you. Baby girl you tried it. You are a #KAREN hating a real woman who believes and agrees with helping young women with finding their goals, dreams, aspirations, and finding their vision. Obviously and apparently you must not have had real strong queens/kings in your family. Your a hater, your bitter sounding, and miserable. The core of the problem is some of these young girls are being taught to find a man to take care of them instead of getting a great education, career, and being independent. KZitem is one great example. Nine chances out of ten you always see a young woman going after 💰 from a athlete, rapper, or an actor. That's the main thing that you see. And while you are mentioning men, the reason why some of those men are the way they are is because they too didn't have real kings/queens to mentor them. Or they didn't have any real men/women in their families that are leaders. Every single time folks start speaking the entire and utmost truth, some folks get offended. Why should women like YO-YO have to or want to dumb themselves down just to please you? Who are you? If anything you need to get a strong reality check an catch up and learn about this thing called LIFE beloved. Cause lord knows you definitely don't have a life. Having strong mentors and the right people around you come from men and women. There are a plethora of great mentors in the music business. If you can't say something nice, positive, motivating, encouraging, and or empowering at least please just be quiet. You sound uneducated and or miseducated, misinformed, and misguided. These young women are the way they are because it came from them being around folks who are uneducated or miseducated, misinformed, and or misguided. Girl you really tried it! You would never or could never ever say what you said to Yo-Yo's face. Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, have all said the exact same things in the past beloved. Get educated, get informed, get involved, get a real mentor, set goals, have a vision, become inspired, and follow your dreams little girl.

I AGREE WITH HER 100%She is telling these young women to be your own authentic self, and do something different. You don't have to follow the in crowd, and you don't have to follow a trend. Blaze your own trail and create your own sound. It's way to many female and male music artist, be it rap, rock, r&b who are copying other artist, mocking and mimicking other artist. You can easily get lost when you copy the next person. And after you have done it for so long you can find yourself being uncomfortable. And when you want to change some people won't like the change. More rappers are talking about the exact same thing. There is so much more to life than that. Many people don't even know how to be original because they have been copying off other artist for so long. If you can't reinvent yourself your not gonna make it as a music artist, actor or actress. Believe it or not real music listeners and real movie watchers want to continue to see something different not the same ole thing all of the time. Eventually twerking will be a thing of the past. Twerking came from strip clubs. Some of these female rappers are just modern day strippers. Either you want to rap or you want to be in a strip club stripping. I am so glad that I come from the era of Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Yo-Yo, Monie Love, etc.

What Yo Yo is really talking about is the terrible state of hip hop going back a good GOOD handful of years. Young people just didn't have a lot of positive influence, in their community or on the radio. Young people only know how to emulate murder, drugs, gun, sex, violence, etc because that's all that's on the radio. I love hip hope and was there since the start, mid 70's on as a kid.
