Walk on by, Serpant Boy, War, Bartender (their most well known song), Killing Time, man so many amazing songs by these guys ranging from serious political topics to just vulgar sex themes, but all good. Also, almost every album has a different "vibe". Broke was really along the lines of the Rap Metal where New World Orphans was alot more punk. Please do more of this band you won't regret it!! (HED)p.e. first album from 1997 is their BEST by a long mile. It's a true unknown gem. Check the songs Ken2012, Hill, Tired of Sleep, and especially IFO. The lyrics are insanely good. You mentioned Punk influence with this track Renegade, back in the day, the band coined their style "G-Punk". Which is obviously derived from G-Funk and describes the bands musical influences very well. And another very cool fact about the band is that they were only very few rock bands signed to JIVE Records. Mostly a Hip Hip label. Sharing the roster with Tribe Called Quest, Fu Shickens, Mobb Deep and funny enough Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys...?!? I also remember seeing an early interview with Chester Bennington. He was asked about his influences or bands he was currently listening to. The first band Chester mentioned was (HED)p.e. I might be wrong here, but I think that (HED)p.e. drummer "B.C." was Linkin Park tour manager or is/was in some way related to them on a personal or business level. I'm really not sure where I got that from though anymore though. Maybe someone else can confirm that.
