Had one in the 80s bought a cagiva 500 desert racer and sold the IT to my mate, though the cagiva would give the old IT a good seeing to 😏 couldn't shake the bloody thing off especially on the road, some thieving scroat nicked it out of my mates shed never to be seen again wish I still had the old girl was 1000 times more reliable than the cagiva.

Thankyou Eric It was restored some years ago by the previous owner, it ran well and still had the original piston and rings after 15000 miles. A lovely bike to own and ride.

Very rare 1976 yamaha it400c in amazing condition. Not been running for some time and it started easily with fresh fuel mix.

Hi Ron Thanks for your message, please tell me more on your thoughts and ownership of these bikes. Mine is running and starts great, there is a knack to it but its as good as it looks. I did have it for sale but its still with me and used occasionally. Very lively to ride!

Very nice. What does an IT400 sell for these days? My dad has one as well but isn’t sure what to list it for etc

I really don't know Kurt, here in uk they are rare but not widely known of, I would advise to look at the yamaha IT website forum.
