In my humble opinion, THIS is the best rendition of I heard love is blind. Its relaxed and chic nature makes this so iconic. She was an excellent songbird ❤

in most london jazz clubs like that, it’s bustling and people are talking, socialising, that’s usually the vibes you get, if you go to any jazz club. they’re social clubs, and people come perform their music, in that sort of vibe. it’s not a proper concert vibe, if that makes sense. i know this comment is from over 8 years ago, but it’s just for anyone wondering…

I couldn't resist him His eyes were like yours His hair was exactly the shade of brown He's just not as tall, but I couldn't tell It was dark and I was lying down You are everything ' he means nothing to me I can't even remember his name Why're you so upset? Baby, you weren't there and I was thinking of you when I came What do you expect? You left me here alone; I drank so much and needed to touch Don't overreact ' I pretended he was you You wouldn't want me to be lonely How can I put it so you understand? I didn't let him hold my hand But he looked like you; I guess he looked like you No he wasn't you But you can still trust me, this ain't infidelity It's not cheating; you were on my mind Yes he looked like you But I heard love is blind

@@JazzFlop212 Amy has literally said herself that she just wants to make her music and sing. Not that big of a fan if you didn’t know that…they rightfully concluded what her statement meant from being a fan themselves.
@JazzFlop212
2 жыл бұрын
@@niyaxm03 Except she was also a human being and said contradictory things. She had documented aspirations to be a famous and renowned singer. It’s extremely pathetic for you to try and gauge how much of a fan I am. She was a complicated human being who I never met or knew personally and can only create an image of her through consumption of the media she still exists in. That applies to y’all too. Stop putting thoughts and words in her mouth, that’s all.
@niyaxm03
2 жыл бұрын
@@JazzFlop212 She said she wanted to be famous when she was young (teenager, mind you and what teenager doesn’t want to be famous) in her essay to a school. Then when she got older she changed how she felt and what she would say…every Amy fan knows this. If she really never changed her views on wanting to be famous, she wouldn’t have had a dream of becoming a skating waitress and gotten a job in journalism. She’s also said before that becoming a working musician kind of just happened for her, she wasn’t necessarily working towards it. Then when she was doing music, she talked about not really caring how many albums she sells and how she would go crazy if she actually became famous. And then she became famous and said the same sh*t, that she doesn’t care if a lot of people don’t buy her album, because she’s proud of her music. Also, who are you to tell someone what to say about a person they’re obviously a fan of.
