This is Wellingborough Zoo Park in 1969, the year before it was closed due to pressure from the RSPCA - the cages were dirty, old and inadequate. This film was passed to me from another local KZitemr. I met with Dave Green (Station SixtySeven) at the little R'ale house at Wellingborough station to take notes and get his account on this video. He states "In the film are my Mum and Dad, their friend Sue and her child Ian. My sister and me also appear, I'm the tot in the brown hooded coat feeding the black swans. Mum is the lady handling the fox. The fox was called 'Vulpe Vulpe' (the Latin name for foxes) and lived in a run at home with us. He was later released into the wild at Salcey Forest. The film was shot by Mick Allen at the request of my Mum and Dad".
