There's a reason for that. I'll say it like this. The reason is "Show business".. and "Glam". That's just the way it is.. And you wouldn't want it any other way. That's Ozzy's image. You wouldn't accept Ozzy with a beard.. It would be too Weird and it wouldn't be Show business.. Or "Glam". Zakk has the beard on Ozzy's behalf.. You could look at it that way. Personally I think Zakk would look better without the beard(we know the reason Zakk grew the beard). Geezer and Iommi also represented that facial hair department in Sabbath and sometimes Bill Ward. There's that time Iommi shaved his moustache and it just look not right. I would never want to see Ozzy with a beard. I did look Ozzy up on google.. It shows him with a beard in the 70's.. Weird. Also.. You would never want to see Michael Jackson with a beard would you? That would be not good. Actually.. There is an interview with MJ sporting a beard.. Somewhere around 2000.. That was just bizarre.. And there were complaints made.. It didn't last long. It's "Show business".. That's the way it is.

Ozzy looked good in the mid 90s during Ozzmosis after his mid 80s blonde glam phase. He was consciously going for a bit of a John Lennon look with the glasses I think. Here in the States, especially the rural South, we are used to lots of open space, relatively cheap housing (but lower wages) relative to the North and coasts, and everything being included in the house--like the restrooms. I didn't know until a saw a documentary that mid 20th century urban British housing often had detached outdoor communal restrooms that several flats would use. Imagine waiting in line to use the restroom in winter. The row houses look like what one of my British former university professors grew up in in Digby, Lincolnshire in the 1950s-1960s. Just looking at how squeezed in everything is makes me feel claustrophobic. But at the same time being so close to major urban areas, the charming English countryside, and so many historic places would be nice for an American like me who has never been to Britain.

Unless this was filmed in December 1995, it's most likely from early 1996 same year as the first Ozzfest. He turned 47 on December 3, 1995.

Honestly to me its shocking it still exists. For me none of the buildings from my childhood exists anymore... And I am younger than him lol. The closest to being very much like my childhood home is a remodeled place that still belongs to family members in Japan. Since the original place got wiped out but considering it survived several things before that should have said about how it was built before that.. ( Its went through several fires and floods. It was finally taken out when Japan was hit by the tsunami that was called Dragon. ) Its technically the same place but none of the original stuff is there. One of the few places I used to live that has not went from being a house to some other thing basically. So that is why I said technically its the same place but the truth is it really is not. But the owners of said land has remained in my family for generations. One of several that my family flat out refuses to let go of no matter what and Its something I am a bit proud of. Especially considering the stuff that was faced to do it. Wonder if Ozzy's old childhood home is the same now considering its been several years since this video was recorded.

The UK relies A LOT on old houses. Housing is very very expensive. The lack of new affordable housing have been an issue for decades.

ozzy's old home is still intact, with a few newer upgrades like double glazed windows a different front door and a new roof recently, otherwise it's the same old home. my friend lives there in Lodge rd Aston. i still work nearby and drive past regularly.🙂

If this was '95 he was certainly taking pills and drinking every day. Could've been one of those times he just got out of rehab, but I doubt it. Seems to be around the time he made "Don't blame me". Anyway, I love ozzy. My biggest idol.
