@lauravettoretti1323

If that was the case then there wouldn't have been any difference between Barry and Robin singing together and the three of them. But there definitely was. He added an extra harmony. His voice may not have been as unique as his brothers but it was important. After all the Bee Gees died when he did.
@christopheranderson1968

Maurice was most definitely integral to the vocal sound. Listen to Nights On Broadway from One Night Only. When Maurice comes in on the chorus, it drives it to a whole new place.
@lauravettoretti1323

Another example is from the All for One tour in 1989...Australian concert (the "medley" section). They're doing Islands in the Stream and it's just Barry & Mo during the verses and all three in the chorus. You can clearly hear Maurice's harmony.
@christopheranderson1968

@@lauravettoretti1323 Yeah, good call. To be honest, I'd say any performance when they're just performing with three voices and an acoustic guitar. Have you seen them do Lollipop to demonstrate their harmonies?
@lauravettoretti1323
3 жыл бұрын
@@christopheranderson1968 yes I have. I often find it difficult to separate the 3 voices. And Mo could change his sound from song to song. There are many of their older songs (Melody Fair for example) that I thought the verse was all Barry but I later found out it was Barry and Mo. I love when they sing all together with just the guitar(s). Just beautiful
