Actually the miner who found the stone I’m sure made quite a good amount.. not millions in USD par-say.. this stone was not just found a couple days ago, it’s just now reaching the states.

I hear the workers usually get a week or so paid off with such a find. Not theirs to own anyways and they get paid pretty well compared to the average salary in nation because it is dangerous work. Usually a cut of the profit is taken by the government as well.

Diamonds can now be grown in a lab at a fraction of the cost of earth-mined diamonds with little environmental impact or human loss of life. -- and before you post a reply - do a search on "lab-grown diamonds." Lab diamonds are identical to natural diamonds.
