You’re absolutely right! Billy West was fabulous with his voice impersonations and delivering those lines had us in tears laughing. And the day he got carried away with his Marge Schott impersonation was epic and even had Howard dying. But yes, this time was the peak of the Stern Show. We’ll always be fans but the time when every day was about strippers, etc, we decided to give it up, really boring , even after we signed up on Sirius satellite. Glad to see Howard’s years of therapy have paid off because he’s now not the angry young man from the early days at WNBC. Peace everyone! And “Baba-Booey to y’all”!

The real Larry Fine spent his final days at the Motion Picture Country Home (so did Joe De Rita). He gave a poignant interview about the roughness of show business; it's on KZitem. Larry died in 1975 at the age of 72.

Every once in a while I have to come back and listen to this. Classic Billy West on Stern is about as good as radio could get. You'd never hear that stuff on the radio anymore, other than maybe XM/S.

It actually aired in 1989. The DJs at WXRK were all recording their own "Woodstock moments" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Woodstock.

I remember completely falling in love with😂 Stimpy's voice on Ren and Stimpy because it was so soothing and strangely familiar. Then one day someone said "he's just the voice of Larry from The Three Stooges" and that shook my world. I❤Larry. He's so Fine.

They were some of the best years of radio because of the tension between Howard ,Jackie, Fred against Jackie who always set himself apart or above everybody else. When Howard would put JackIe in his place and everybody was pylon including Billy West it was the funniest s**t there was.😂👍
