Thank you for sharing. It is hard to find videos of the horned viper, especially one with an unboxing and handling. Those things are nightmare fast. I almost stepped on one in Africa, but was just out of strike range. Someone else on our mission got bitten and envenomated several times when they stumbled and fell on one in the rock scrabble. Nasty bite for sure. Lots of extreme necrosis and tissue damage, and they seem to have a terrible cardiotoxicity. We saw a lot of locals who had been bitten, most didn't die, but had loss of digits and even limbs. Very little antivenom was available.

Hello I’am French and close to North Africa! I have seen this viper in Morocco! It’s weird because someone have horns and some not! They strike very quickly, in Morocco the large puff adder is awesome too ( vipère heurtante) in French! I love snakes from desert! Thanks buddy ✌️

Sorry about the arse kissing but credit where credits due !

Hey buddy, good looking snakes. I've got a question about cobra I've been wondering if a if a monocled cobra can mate with a spectacled cobra
@debayeuxchats5607
3 жыл бұрын
In theory, two snakes of about the same size can attempt to mate. But if you're asking if they can produce viable offspring, I found (only) one source that says they can hybridize. (I'm also assuming you're asking about N. naja and N. kaouthia.) The source was Campbell and Quinn, 1975 "Reproduction in a pair of Asiatic cobras, Naja naja" but I can't actually find the source to read it, just quotes of it elsewhere.

What makes s man willing to risk his life for something he loves to do? The question is the answer! Some men jump out of airplanes, some hunt lions or Cape buffalo with spears, arrows or darts. Others still, risk their lives jumping off a 10,000 foot mountain peak in a flying suit. There are some who risk their lives in combat and even give their lives for another. Life is full of risks. Which one is worth dying for?
