This clip includes rarely-heard, really inorganic underwater sounds of the Weddell seals (Leptonychotes weddellii) swimming below the ice in Antarctica.
From Werner Herzog's 2007 documentary, "Encounters at the End of the World." Film-maker Werner Herzog travels to the McMurdo Station in Antarctica, looking to capture the continent's beauty and investigate the characters living there.
This video has proper, synced subtitles!
I thank Ultimate Outsider ( / @outsidersupreme ) for allowing me to also upload a copy of this beautiful sounds.
