INGREDIENTS:
FOR RABRI:
Milk (दूध) - 3 cups
Sugar (चीनी) - 4 tbsp
Milkmaid/Milk powder (मिल्कमेड/मिल्क पाउडर) - 1/4 cup
Saffron (केसर) - 10-12 pieces
FOR CAKE:
All-Purpose flour (मैदा) - 1 cup
Baking powder (बेकिंग पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Baking soda (बेकिंग सोडा ) - 1/2 tsp
Sugar Powder (पिसी चीनी) - 1/3 cup
Oil (तेल) - 1/3 cup
Curd (दही) - 1/3 cup
Condensed milk (गाढ़ा दूध/रबड़ी) - 1/2 cup
Dry Fruits (सूखे मेवे) - for garnishing
RECIPE:
For Rabri, keep a pan on the flame, put some full cream milk in it. When it starts boiling, put some Sugar, Condensed Milk/Milk Powder, and some Saffron in it and boil it till it becomes half and gets thick. Then keep it for cooling down in the fridge.
For Cake, keep a pan on the flame and put a ring/stand in it and cover it for 4-5 mins on a medium flame for pre-heating.
In a bowl, keep a strainer and put All-Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Powdered Sugar in it, and sieve them and mix them. Then put some Thick Milk, Curd, and Oil in it and mix it well and if the batter is too thick then put some Milk or Water in it for the perfect consistency of the cake batter.
Grease the glass tray with Oil and put the batter in it and keep the tray in the preheated pan and bake it for 30-35 mins by covering it.
After baking the cake, prick it with the fork and put a layer of chilled Rabri on the cake. Garnish some chopped Dry Fruits on the Rabri Cake and keep it in the fridge for 4-5 hours and then cut it in slices and serve the very Tasty Rabri Cake.
