This is heroic. The garage band I was in during middle school in the '60's played this song really well. We used it at a Battle of the Bands contest at a HS and won! No Hammond B3 though, the keyboard player used a Farfisa Combo Compact. Those were the days!

I love this song. It's so much fun. --[1] Back in 1966-69, we covered this song (along with a number of other Rascals songs)in our college-days, New Orleans area cover band (Noah's Wax Battleship). Back then, we also covered a good number of Rascal's songs: "Good Lovin'" (66), "Come On Up" (66), "Love Is A Beautiful Thing" (66-67), "Lonely Too Long" (67), & "See" (69). That is 5 Rascals' songs, which is about the most that we played from any single group. --[2] We did not cover "How Can I Be Sure" (67), "Groovin'" (67), or "People Got To Be Free" (68), because the orchestration was a bit much for we college kids. --[3] For sure, the Rascals were so good & prolific, with such nice, melodic, & rockin' songs. What memories, & what wonderfulness. Richard

Saw them on this multimedia tour in Boston at the Opera House . They were great. Sounded just like you remember. Didn't play "Midnight Hour", which they do a great version of, but they did everything else. Great show.

Gene needs humbuckers to cut through the organ signal. But man, they had a lot of great hits, made the folks dance for sure. Big heroes back in 65,,,,hahahaha!

DYNODRUM Totally agree... Dino is a savage and the Rascals are American Exceptionalism in band form.
