@jefftej bro!!!! So many lineups that you could use!!! I used to give mfs hell 🤣 my go to lineup was Kidd, Jr, Shump, Melo && Tyson. Sometimes I'd swap out Kidd for Shump, put JR at 2, Novak at 3, Melo at 4 && either Tyson, Amare, Kenyon or Thomas at the 5.

I feel if Melo was drafted by Pistons instead nuggets the Pistons would of had a similar team to 90 bulls a scorer surrounded by top defensive players, Pistons with Melo and Sheed and Ben Wallace and all those defenders would of had at least 4 championships.

People forget how nasty the Pacers were back then too. First they had Danny Granger, then there was David West, Hibbert, Collison, Lance Stevenson, George Hill and eventually Paul George.

that was a real good team and they matched up with Miami well, integrating Stat was tough, Tyson wasn’t good that 2nd round Indy it just kinda all fell apart there Melo had to carry too much by then hence even him playing shoulder injury that series, rest of the guys let him down as well especially JR unprofessional at the time but I watched that whole season and had a blast

Injuries is what took that team out. Tyson had just came back from the neck injury. Stat couldn’t stay healthy and our old guys ran out of gas. Plus JR smith wasn’t the same after that 6th man of the year award. He disappeared

That Knicks team was very special & fun to watch, easily the last great team they had. They loaded with solid veteran players, plus that was like the only season that Carmelo Anthony seemed like a decent team leader, not just a team cancer & selfish ballhog. Mike Woodson was a garbage coach though.

I was WIDE AWAKE watching Melo screw the team by insisting on a trade rather than an off-season signing, hog the ball in order to take terrible shots (that he would make a surprising amount of the time admittedly), and play no defense, and then get jealous of teammates for having success. Basically he was terribly overrated and not a guy you could win a chip with given his attitude, shot selection, non-defense, and salary. Sheed was a player tho.
