The garden is bursting with raspberries right now and we are loving being able to eat our fill and use them in our drinks and desserts. I loved canning up last year's raspberries into delicious jam and am excited to do that again this fall.

♥️ Scone Recipe:
4 cups flour
3 TBSP white sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2/3 cup cold butter-chopped
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease two large baking sheets. Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cream of tartar. Cut in cold butter to flour mixture until crumbly. In a seperate bowl, combine egg yolk and half and half. Add to flour butter mixture and knead until tough dough forms. Add in raspberries gently. Divide into two. Gently form each half into an 8 inch round. Rigide into 8 wedges. Place scones on a baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
🤍 Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/4 cup softened butter
2 TBDP milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 cups powdered sugar
Whisk cream cheese and butter together first then mix all until well combined and smooth.
