Little info for the non italian speaking people: "Tiramisù" the name of this dessert means "lift me up" because with the generous amount of coffee, eggs, mascarpone cheese and sugar this dessert gives you a wake up boost that you can really feel. Is my favourite dessert, of course the best one is always my mother's made one. One correction: the original recipe is without cream, only eggs, mascarpone, sugar, "savoiardi" biscuits, coffee and a little of cognac/brandy or amaretto, then cover it by high quality bitter cacao powder.

No cognac or amaretto in the original dish. It's optional. :)
@plaio80

@@kornar true but at the same time not totally correct, the first time this dessert recipe was published on the italian dishes magazine of the gastronomist Giuseppe Maffioli in the 1981 the original recipe was of only 5 ingredients: eggs, mascarpone, savoiardi, caffe and dark bitter cacao powder, but at the same time Maffioli, that already knew the true potential of this dessert proposed a variation including 4 table spoon of marsala to the cream. So the variation that includes a little alcohol was published at the same time of the original recipe, and personally I think it gives the final touch to this dessert.

I'm Italian and when I was little tiramisù was my go-to birthday cake. I remember my parents would sit together in the kitchen the evening before my birthday making it, whisking everything by hand because we didn't have an electric mixer so it would take a while. We'd eat it only once a year so it was always a very special treat and hands down my absolutely favorite dessert. And since it felt so special as a kid I was convinced that tiramisù was this rare and super sophisticated delicacy, extremely difficult to prepare. Then I grew up, began cooking and baking and realized that it's literally one of the easiest foolproof desserts ever, but I still only make it very rarely so whenever I have it it's always a special occasion. Definitely still one of my favorite desserts

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Our Tiramisu had to sit in the fridge for three days before anyone could eat it. The refrigerator door had to be chained, you needed supervision to open the refrigerator. By day two the entire house was miserable. By day three people just lay in front of the fridge covered in drool. There were seven of us. I don't know how my dad put up with us ❤️

The Swedish “semla” is one of my favorite desserts, and I would really appreciate a video about it. I don’t quite like it with vanilla cream inside but you could obviously do whatever you’d prefer. Bonus fact: the semla is celebrated and eaten by a large amount of people in the area around Sweden. This day is the semmelday! And if you were wondering, it’s celebrated on February 13 in 2024, and the day which it is celebrated goes up by one week every year

Try putting a layer quite thin biscuits and poor some hot milk mixed with a little sugar then repeat (you can make it 2 or 3 layers thick ,as you like) then poor a thick layer of custard and inro the fridge! When the custard cools down poor a thicker layer of delicious jelly ( I recommend strawberry jelly ) and into the fridge again! 😂 When the jelly cools down , carefully slice it into square slices and enjoy!🍰🍻🚀

If you don't know tiramisù why would you speak? Of course it can have alcool. Marsala in the yolk is a must for taste, unless there are reasons to avoid it, like children eating or dietary restrictions

For the original one: don’t use any alcohol, don’t use egg whites, always remember to use fresh pasteurized yolks (salmonella stares at you every moment), when you mix the creams don’t whisk them but use a spatula for a perfect texture, and then let it sit in the fridge overnight. I know it’s hard to wait, but it’s worth every single second, trust an Italian
