Service 171 Paris, Sèvres, Saint-Cloud, Chaville, Ville-d'Avray, Versailles (Palace of Versailles)
Irisbus having suspended production of the Citelis Line, the RATP then placed an order for Citelis-S and the first cars appeared on line 186 in September and October 2010.
The Citelis S differs from the Citelis Line by its significantly larger engine. This arrangement has the effect of reducing the capacity of the vehicle by four seats, with one row of seats being removed at the rear. Moreover, the vehicle has the same body as its counterpart.
The Parisian Citelis S have two doors unlike many provincial cars which come with three doors.
The Citelis S are numbered from 5101 to 5344 and from 8521. Cars delivered from 2012 display the new mixed RATP-STIF livery with a light gray side sill.
The technical characteristics of the RATP Citelis Line are as follows:
- Diesel engine 6 cylinders in line vertical transverse at the rear, type IVECO Cursor 8 (euro 3) of 180 kW (245 hp), to euro 4 standards and up to euro 5 and EEV standards;
- electronically controlled full air suspension;
