Sometimes I think people don't appreciate just how difficult deadlift for reps compared to max really is (neither harder nor easier) particularly with time limits. They also forget just how difficult 400kg really is considering 500kg+ world record.

can anyone explain which muscle hold the fakin hands in shoulder socket? stilll cant comprehend how his arms dont get torn out lol ... i know its traps mostly but that would mean each trap has to hold 200 kg which seems absurd

have you not seen youtube fitness people pull over 1000 lbs in the rack pull above the knee? the traps have insane weight capacity.

your body pretty much uses any muscle it can to adapt, you def use mostly traps and maybe shoulders but also lats and other back muscles. lots of lifters tear their lats on heavy dls

any muscle that attaches to the arm and the torso. All of the deltoids of course, the latissimus, the pecs, the triceps and biceps as well. The traps attach to spine and the shoulder socket, but don't actually attach to the arms. They still have to hold the weight though - the whole body has to withstand those forces.
