The same job i used to do. Rautomead rt850 if i am not mistaken. I missed my job. I used to do exactly what he is doing. But one thing i see. He should wait for the die to cooldown before pulling it out to avoid oxydation of the crucible and as well as the die.

Very wrong procedure, he should cool down the machine before it was set up again for another production. The dies will become dirty of zinc oxide and it will be difficult to produce a good cast bars. If the dies are dirty of zinc oxide, the surface of cast bars will be rough and cracked. It should be cleaned. And also pulling the dies while the machine is still hot will damaged the crucible. It will oxydized.
