This one is inspired by the middle-eastern sweet delicacy called “Babousa”.
This Baked Rawa Barfi is easy to make and comes with a healthy twist. It will turn out to be a fantastic treat for every festival. All you have to do is mix the ingredients well, bake it, and..it’s done!

Recipe :
Rava Coconut Barfi
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time:45 minutes
Makes: 600g Approx
Ingredients:
450g Rava (thick)
180g Coconut Powder
330g Caster Sugar
120g Flour
300g Curd
2255g Ghee
2tsp Cardamom Powder
225ml Milk ¼ cup sugar syrup
Pistachio, Almonds flakes, dried rose petals to garnish
Method:
Dissolve the sugar in the yoghurt. Add in the semolina, coconut powder, milk, cardamom powder and mix lightly. Add in the melted ghee, mix and allow to stand for 5 minutes for the semolina to absorb the liquids.
Grease the baking tray. Line with butter paper.
Remove the mixture to the baking tray. Flatten out the mixture on the tray.
Bake at 165*C in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or till the top starts to turn golden.
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Cut into squares, garnish with almond flakes and serve.
