4:13 - Interesting. Brass section is not as well-mic'd as rest of the orchestra, this section is ordinarily thunderous! Probably was perfect live in the hall :)

6:05 - 6:56 - Seemed that Maestro, in this version, wanted more contrast between the pacing of some of the slower sections and the more sudden burts. This section, and even moreso the following 6:58 - 7:46 - are quite more languid and lulling than in other performances, revving up slightly at 7:47 - 7:52 .... Then 7:53 - 8:08 appears to return to a more commonly paced tempo, then at 8:16 a more accentuated rapid wind-up, leveling again. It's fascinating to experience the different interpretations and pacing transitions by the same conductor in different performances. Running 13:32, this performance is 37-seconds longer than the version posted in 2010, running 12:55 ( kzitem.info/news/bejne/tYOJzYuegnd_hqA ) . The most brisk version of La Valse that I've ever heard is conductor Charles Munch's 1956 recording with the Boston Symphony Orchestra ( kzitem.info/news/bejne/sG6av6hvZl-bkpg ), clocking in at 11:23 - a full 2 minutes briefer than this 2013 performance! I also confess it's the first version I ever heard on vinyl back in 1980, so I'm prejudiced in claiming it as my favorite :) ... I would give anything to see Myung-Whun chung live conducting his orchestra in Japan! He is phenomenal !

@KimCulDeok - Thanks for uploading both versions of La Valse conducted by maestro Myung-Whun chung. If by chance you can identify the data and location of the video you posted in 2010, much appreciated! (here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/tYOJzYuegnd_hqA )

I felt the video and sound production was better in the 2010 version: kzitem.info/news/bejne/tYOJzYuegnd_hqA Either way Maestro Myung-Whun Chung and Orchestra are sublime!
