On top of Ravencliff Knob Out There! went on an Adventure to find a VORTAC radio tower we seen on Google Earth. VHF Omni-directional Range/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) is a tower used by radars from airplanes to 'draw' azimuths for a more precise position above the earth's surface. We had no idea the calm serenity we would find on this hike. As the road up and the trail itself is pretty desolate. It is a fairly easy/long hike out and there are many abandoned or seldom used sites from telecommunication buildings and relay points to electrical transport locations and switches across the mountains. We thought we brought the GoPro with us on this trip but it was actually the VERY first hike without Link. That is one reason why it was so hard to get this video out. We hope you enjoy this short trip Out There! We hope it encourages you to get on Out There! yourself if you can and enjoy the Creation God Created for YOU.
Remember we have a store now. These pictures are already in the store and can be found here: outthere777.sm... Make sure to find all our Adventures in the folders and browser through the buy options for any kind of printing you can image.
Get.
