I saw Rick Rude in a hotel lobby after a match against Ric Flair where he 'cheated' to beat Flair. At the time Flair was a 'good guy'. As Rude was walking through the lobby with his manager a little girl, about 3 or 4 years old and obviously a Flair fan, walks up to Rude shaking her finger and tells him 'I don't want you to wrestle anymore.' Rude looked at her with a smile on his face and said 'Ok, darlin'. I won't.' Really nice guy.

She was absolutely one of the BEST hosts for a talk show that had wrestlers on. She was excited about the sport and the wrestlers/managers, had a lot of fun with them without talking bad about the business or trying to expose it as being fake. I agree. She did a great job here. Kept it fun, respectful AND interesting. She did a much better job than Bill Maher did when he had a crew of even more talented talkers (save for Rick Rude who is fantastic). Maher was awful when he had a crew of wrestlers on his first show politically incorrect. He was so awkward and weird and had no idea how to have a good time of it OR ask even one good question and was oddly disrespectful for some unknown reason It's as if the booker forced him to do the show. The conversation had zero direction as well, which is Maher main duty. The direction of the conversation was AWOL. Totally directionless where as Vicky sounded like she did her homework and had a very directed plan on where she wanted the conversation to go and what she wanted the vibe to feel like.

The greatest if you ask me. He was my favorite as a kid growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. He seems like such a good guy. I never saw the real rick rude until today when i saw this video and a couple more like his awesome appearance on Regis and Kathy Lee. That was epic if you haven't seen it. It's on KZitem. Rude is just incredible on that show. He seems like such a good decent guy. But yet kept the shtick up so well. He could turn it down just enough to still be in the role but be charming and kind.

Thanks WolfpackTV for this content I loved WCW 1989-1994 as well as 96 & 97. I'm a mark for Rick Rude people think I'm crazy when I say he was a better heel than Ric Flair & I'm a huge Flair fan. Ventura was a great commentator when him & Schiavonie worked together they were funny.

LMAO when Rude came out and opened up his robe to reveal the host’s face on his tights and then started gyrating. Classic Rude 😂

Fabulous interview btw, love how she makes them all comfortable enough to actually talk so they break character. Also, tragic to that the upcoming match between Sting and Rude would be the match that ends Rude's career.

Today they would be all talking about Donald Trump over and over thinking it will sway people instead of entertainment. I cannot stand most modern entertainment due to its overt politics.
