@@esthervandenbos5064 earth doesn’t have enough resources for that, if we do start feeding, educating, and overall meeting everyone on earth’s needs, our resources will dwindle faster. We could ration, go full clean on energy, recycle everything, empty out the garbage dumps and plant an extreme amount of trees, but believe it or not, the earth resources only have a century or two before we run dry of everything. We need to explore the solar system in order to survive, we need to do small baby steps and then create equipment to sustain our needs. Mars alone has trillions of U.S dollars worth of resources, when we colonize it and make it somewhat suitable, we will have to worry less for resources, next step us farms, and then forests, and then lakes and rivers and hopefully ocean. We do the same for Venus and we are set for the long term survival of our species. Think about that.

@@Elgallo1107 Only the target site was coded to get the eagle down to the surface of the moon and within the area they needed to land at, however Neil Armstrong took control at the last minute and he had to land the eagle himself, in fact Neil took control before he was supposed to, become him and buzz saw a pile of giant rocks the size of cars where there landing site was at, so he immediately took control and pitched the eagle forward allowing them to hover past the giant rocks and past a crater on the moon which waisted a lot of fuel and put them in a situation where they were racing against time to land before they run out of fuel, by the time they landed they had only 20 seconds of fuel left for landing, they had reserves but those reserves where meant for lifting off back to Rendezvous with the Saturn V spacecraft with Collins waiting for them. ….. yea, yea, I know I’m a nerd
