When I was a child Ray Charles was my first crush. The talent on that stage at the end was amazing. John was already loved but he worked hard to keep Ray Charles on track without looking like he was. John cares that much, Ray might be too old here but John let me see who he was again. John is not just a legend, he is a very beautiful soul who was there for another legend. That made me cry. Respect Mr Farnham.

My son is ‘Jackson’, however he is named after a few significant people in our lives- my husbands favourite football players whose name is Jacky, but also my father in law, whose name is John, which has the same meaning as jack and Jackson (also secretly my love of mr whispering jack)…. My father in law apparently cried when my husband told him our sons name and the reasoning behind his name… John and Jack and Jackson are all strong beautiful names

When John was sitting near Ray Charles playing the keyboard and Ray lifted his leg and played a high note. That cracked me up. Legendary artist's and performance. Love John Farnham and Ray Charles together.

Despite all his other talents, Ray has to be the most immaculately dressed male musicians in the history of modern music. I have noticed on all his videos, that his suits are all superbly tailored and fit him perfectly. PLUS they have been made of so many wonderfully individual, interesting, fabrics. For me they just complete his magnificent stage presentation. Have loved this man since l first heard him on the radio in Australia, as a 12 yr old, in the early 60s. He introduced me to the wonders of Soul Music, just before Aretha added her bit.

This is absolutely amazing watching these 2 {John & Ray} perform together. One of the most entertaining performances l have ever witnessed. Just wonderful to see the pleasure/delight, Ray got from performing with our own John, and his mind blowing talent.

Wow , Ray was agitated because of sound difficulties after Georgia, but Jack stepped in and helped, the rest was pure magic. Unbelievable. This is Ray Charles, who is a legend, even he is taken by John Farnham's persona. Now that is something to behold.

I can't describe the feeling in my heart right now. I am really fond of Ray Charles' voice from his performance in We Are the World. But the first time I listened this song, it was already 2007 or so. I was heart-broken to know this amazing singer just past away several years ago. And right now I'm huge fan of Anthony Warlow. I didn't know these two were on stage together before. Before viewing this video, I was listening to his Anthem. It feels like I was leaded here by Anthony.

I saw John perform last week in Mannum SA, my 36th Farnham concert. John and the band are as amazing as ever. I would absolutely love to see a full set of early hits mixed with never recorded songs - like this performance of 'Imagine' - performed in concert one day.

Is it just my poor googling skills, or is it really hard to find anything much about the drummer, Angus Burchell (or however you spell his name)? I love that John has kept pretty much the same band and backup singers for the majority of his post LRB career!

You're talking about one of the most successful female singers in the world. Her talent is not falling from any of the people on that stage. Plus, considering she was still in her 20's when she performed with Ray Charles, no wonder if she was nervous, but it's quite an achievement for her.

Obviously the audience doesn’t agree as they seem to cheer pretty loudly for him when he hits those big notes quite comfortably
