Former cattle rancher Ray Holes has a large herd of goats that are used throughout the western states to control weeds for cities, counties, federal agencies and Native American tribes.
The Life on the Range film crew caught up with Ray Holes in Washington County, Idaho, where the goats are eating the noxious weed leafy spurge. We also visited the location where Holes raises the goats, and learned about how to puts his goat herds together for effective weed control.
