And that's fine. But just know that the only reason people accept it on your documents when you say your gender is Mercedes-benz is because it's easier to say okay than to have you admit you're crazy. And they are. @@conrad_TK421 yeah, I tried that too but without a high speed camera it's still impossible to sus out exactly how he is doing it because I'm seeing things that shouldn't be possible. Like there's a couple times where it appears that the blade is passing under his armpit, but how it got room at that angle? I own a Darth Maul staffsaber and I'm a big guy, 6'4" with long arms and I can do the behind the back and overhead one handed tricks, but the two handed propeller spin? I can't get it to do what it APPEARS to be doing here without metaphorically 'amputating my shoulder'. I put 'appears' in all-caps to emphasize how the motion blur and low frame rate make it IMPOSSIBLE to know how he do that 100% for sure, and trying to imitate what I'm seeing with my own staffsaber just leaves me confused because sometimes it goes from one position to another without a middle step, like he's doing a magician's sleight of hand to do a grip reversal with one hand so he can reset his forearm rotation, but since it's street magic or some such illusion it looks like the laws and rules of classical physics and kinesiology is being blatantly ignored. All I know is that what he's doing is impossible without doing a grip reversal at some point, or at least letting go and grabbing back ahold as it comes back the other way... but I'm not seeing it and I've even captured it and put it into VLC to do a frame by frame crawl and I can't spot how he's keeping his arms from twisting together like rope.

@@superstimulatedminotaur3681 that was an aspect of his character. it made him mysterious and intimidating. and ray park did well to bring subtle hints to maul's character with his body language and facial expressions. but the real main aspect of it all that he nailed was the physicality he brought to the performance. that's what ray park is known for, and there's a reason he's had multiple big roles that compliment that.

What I love about lightsabers is that this wouldn't work very well with a double bladed sword, but the sheer danger of even touching a lightsaber makes the helicopter technique totally viable and even more stylish.

The Inquisitors, dark side users trained by Darth Vader during the Empire, had lightsabers that could spin like a helicopter. it was shown that this technique wasn't viable as it only took one quick move to render the lightsaber and technique useless. Also, General Grievous in his final fight against Obi-Wan in RotS (Revenge of the Sith) used the helicopter technique due to his Prosthetics. Obi-Wan easily countered it and defeated Grievous in that encounter. The double Bladed Saber is great for offence and intimidation, but terrible for defense. Sure, Ray Park is a normal Human and can do this without himself getting hurt. But Ray Park has had a lifetime of practice doing similar things to this Helicopter lightsaber; namely Sign Spinning. The sheer presence of two blades is viable, but it has many things that can and will awry. I Recommend watching Shadiversity's video on Double Bladed Sabers Link will be here; kzitem.info/news/bejne/sYd31paAa2uCfYY&ab_channel=Shadiversity If you read this, Thanks for reading my Rant.
