Absolutely beautiful. I'm just baffled that Razer does not sell each individual wrist rest as replacements for every keyboard they've ever made.

not even Asus does for they most expensive gaming keyboards. They sell u 200+ with leatherette wrist rest and once its done, they dont care. Buy a new keyboard...I am already looking for a way to send the keyboard back in warranty just because of it...

awesome, was not sure what I'd have to do to repair my razer wrist rest, similar thing is happening with it. This gives me a peace of mind that its not too hard to do.

Heyas this is great restoration and if i was here is because i was thinking of doing the same thing. But what i ended up doing was to remove slowly with my fingers all the dry layer of fake leather and then with a brush remove all the leftover glue that was on the tissue and now it just looks freaking amazing. i wish i had filmed it so i could post it here. So for anyone reading this, you can give it a try because i even still have the razer logo on the tissue. and the tissue is very soft and dark once you brush the little glue it had left. :D

Man, this was a really impressive restoration. My leatherette wrist rest is already cracking & peeling after about 10 months of use, and my razer hex mouse buttons have also chipped flaked off in that 10 month time frame (mind is blown they didn't use doubleshot buttons). I feel like razer quality has really gone so low. Because my 2010 Razer Naga hex still looked amazing after 10 years of use. I'm afraid I can't repair it myself, but I appreciate how well you restored yours!

I’m definitely not buying razer products anymore. They have gone down in quality over the years

Hello from Asia, I bought some local leather because my wristpad pu leather was also peeling. Since my first time working with leather, I Google and found your video, glad someone already tried and share it online. Great job :) Is it still holding strong, did the leather get loose? I plan to use Contact Adhesive instead

Looks like new and now it has even more Quality and Durability than before! 🙂 I am also looking for a way to fix my Blackwidow Chroma V2 Handrest. It has a bit different shape but looks similar to the way it might be attached to the plastic surface.

I did the same put actually bought a seperate wrist pad from razer (which aren't as nice as these) and removing the microfibre fabric of that one and glues it on this one (so it also has a razer logo) and no more worn off spots. Edit: May i ask what glue you've used?

Wanted to clean my razor black widow pro pad and noticed some weirdness in bottom left corner. Then noticed it started to peel like seen so many times. I just can not understand why manufacturers use this material. It will always start to peel. For me it was in about a year since we got it

Guess cutting the corners of diagonally makes it easier to fold and stick them down. It also prevents the buldge which makes it harder to put it back into the frame. Cutting it before applying the glue will make the process easier

Perhaps taking of around 1/2mm of the edges of the plastic where the cushen is attached to will also help. Since the real leather is much thicker. I feel that the reassembly will be easier
