I often saw R.B. in Trinity until a few years ago, invariably dressed for the Arctic with several long Trinity scarfs, walking slowly and helped up & down steps by pretty Arts Block women. He looked a little homeless, but I knew that he was in fact a distinguished Scholar.

As a TCD student McDowell lectured me on a course on British History 1715 - 1914? he spoke completely ex tempore and was vastly entertaining. It was much more like listening to a contemporary political gossip column than a series of lectures. I cannot recall the end date of the course. McDowell didn' t actually get past the 1760s in an entire year of lectures!

Who in the name of God was "Mister De Val-yoora"? Is he trying to say De Valera? WHAT is that accent?

thats what I said, your right. I love looking at think, ignorant comments. Some of the biggest republicans live here - Eirigi for example. But, I should not be so hard on people will very poor education. Maybe you should grab a book?

Alumni here. I agree. College of incompetent snobs with a student union that does nothing in light of the severe issues
