Great video series, definetly need some budget builds for those monetarily challenged.I have a 3racing 1/10 Cactus buggy that is also a great deal that has 12mm hexes and std 12mm shocks.Enjoy your vids a lot.Thx for sharing!

Great price for the Kit! Now i know why you bought the blue anodized knife. Always nice to look at evenly colored tools, especially these great looking dark blue ones. My "special" tools like reamer, puller, shock pliers, etc are all gunmetal ;)

I bought two of these. I already have a B5m I race with, but as cheap as these are, there's no way I could pass it up. I'll run one as mid motor and the other as rear motor. I'm going for a budget build as well, so your power plant selection will help me out a lot.

It's nice to see a known yt-man trying out this. I don't have much money myself so my cars are cheap, The 2wd's are around $300aud and my 4wd's around $400aud. I'm also in the lucky position of having the australian HK warehouse about 20km away so I can get cheap electronics (I also have the Turnigy SCTV2) and bits 'n bobs while also saving a bit on shipping

First thing looking good Rich as far as the build. Second i wouldn't purchase this since i do not race (absolutely no tracks near me) and also wouldn't dare just to bash it..(that would be a sin). Third imho me personally if i was into racing would just spend the extra cash and purchase an RC10. That's just me and i could definitely see a experienced someone want a buggy to get into racing (NOT the hobby) for so very cheap. I am sure parts can fit this buggy with minor tweaking here n there from other racer buggy's in the 10th scale class and that wouldn't be so bad adding some extra cash to it since its already very low price tag. With all that said, cool vid since i do love buggy's. Look forward to the final finished product and how it runs.

Lee Andrews Sorry to hear that Lee. The $80 price for a kit is hard to come by.......it will need to be a discontinued kit to even come close to that range....otherwise, which will be my next series is looking at a previous Gen used model.....like the Team Associated B5M. When the B6D was announced, the B5 series was reduced quite a bit with rollers hitting the $100 mark.

pretty sad when a low budget kit like this includes more alloy than an Associated kit. AE really wants you to go out and spend money on their stupid "factory" crap.
