That's very useful, but how does it align with the receiver? The only indication on the receiver is an indentation at one end of the slot. None of the connectors for the receiver have a corresponding tab. So which side - Gnd or signal - goes on the indent side of the slot i the receiver?
@Painless360
2 жыл бұрын
Most receivers have a little printing on them to show the orientation of the plug. If not then the notch side of the servo connector is the signal pin usually. You can check which is which as all of the GND pins are connected together and you can check that by measuring the resistance.. Best of luck!

This is an amazing video :) (And thank you for it) However, my cable only has 2 colours (Brown and Yellow) and according to your video there should be a red wire also, to provide (5V) power. This may be why the connection of power is not going through, to my CC3D and receiver, further more this could be why the motors were not spinning on openpilot. If you know the solution, or have any pop answers that may help me (as did this video) i would be very appreciative.

I never use the ferrite cores here. I use cheap rubbish 9G servos here :D If I have a build I want to be perfect then I'll plump for something with ball bearings in - those are usually a far higher quality..

Amazing job Painless 360 congratulations. I am new to the field of drones and I wanted to ask you. I have bought a hubsan x4 h501s and I wonder if I can remove the servo cable of the transmission module and weld the type of cable that you show on the video in order to take the 1080 hd camera outside the Hubsan, just under the quapter itself. I know it sounds like kind of stupid but my thinking is that I am going to diy device a gimble to stabilise the camera of the hubsan so it does not move with the quapter if you know what I mean. the link to the transmission module that I am talking about is this one; www.hobbysquare.com.sg/index.php/hubsan-h501s-11-5-8g-transmission-module.html so my question: is it possible to do soldering replacing that flat servo cable into the type that you show on the video making the cables long enough to be able to take the hd camera outside the quapter? tx
