Still, you sound like you are more in the desire to throw the Transgender community to the Homophobes in hopes that they will focus their negative actions on us and not the gay community. Over and over, Amir that each time they target us in legislation, they go to a point that they can not think of anything else to do to us....and the first group they then target is the Gay and Lesbian community. If you do not like the Transgender community then know that the same ones that hate us, more than likely also hate ones like you also. Search for Maurice Ogden's poem "The Hangman" or the scene from "Driving Ms. Daisy" when they bombed the Temple.

If I had a counter for how many time you gave that bombastic glance to the camera I'd be rich. For some Christians you can't be homosexual, bisexual or trans you can't be Christian in there eyes and growing up this is why i went down the far left pipe line for a minute in and after high-school I'm just glad I can look back and laugh and say wow being woke isn't the same as how it was before covid and third wave feminism breaking off into different groups. These kinda videos are good examples of why radicals also started gaining voices and soon activism got outta had.

The bottom line is this; Being gay is incompatible with Christianity, Islam, or Judaism. Im pretty sure it's incompatible with Shinto, and even Buddhism. Religion isnt there to make you feel good about yourself. It's there to tell you how to live your life Ian righteous manner. If you want to create a different set of values and not be religious, that is certainly your right. But you can't demand that God's word change for you. And as for child rearing, you can diss straight families all you want, but children from two gender nuclear families are by far the best adjusted. Nature has two genders for a reason, and there is a reason nature doesnt allow gay men to produce children. Still, family matters are family matters, if a gay man fathers a child, they are entitled to raise it as any father would.

The last church I went to had a gay couple there. These were two great guys and they were polite and nice and really believed in Christ. They were far better Christians than a lot of straight Christians I have met in my life. Anyway, one day, after the couple had left, the preacher called the congregation back in, minus the gay couple, and had a whole church meeting behind their backs. Now, to their face, everyone was sweet and wonderful to them, but then came this meeting and they held a vote to kick this couple out of the church. And the majority agreed. I felt so shitty after that and I haven't been back. I don't need a building to worship my God. But that was so sickening, and I made my voice heard before I left in defense of this couple, then walked out and never came back. The church is gone now and the couple are still together and happily married. I had never seen hatred like that.

Kicking members out of a church without their input, and especially doing it behind their back, while they are oblivious that clergy takes issue with them, is disgusting. If you're going to excommunicate someone, they need to be aware that they have a problem, what it is, and why it is unacceptable. It's wrong to have the whole congregation gang-up on them. How isolating. Excommunication should be done in compassion, to help the person repent. Not in a meanspirited way. If they were victimizing vulnerable people, you bet, alley-oop 'em outta there. Otherwise, be kind to sinners who are just struggling with a certain sin.

As a Christian, I grew up not necessarily hating gay people. I just found them kind of gross, like I wasn’t used to seeing them IRL or on tv. My mom explained to me that they were people that acted like their opposite gender, and she wasn’t exactly wrong. With time, I learned to love and accept that gay people cannot help the way they feel. I personally would never kiss a girl, but people are allowed to do whatever they want in this country as long as it’s not harming others. I wish that, instead of hating on those that are against gays, I wish the community helped these people learn to accept them. I wish I knew the science behind it, and why people hated them so much. Christians were hated at one point too, every minority group was hated at one point. And I’m really glad to see the progress we’re at today.

Because that is the design for men and women, to be together. Yes, they sinned but they are the one and only design for relationship and marriage. Humans design for love is: 1. God and Man, God as our father through Christ Jesus our Lord and saviour. 2. Man and woman in marriage, representing Christ and the church (the people of God, not the building) So Adam and Eve are the example because they were both made in the garden before they sinned. To many Christians focus on the hellfire and brimstone and not enough on the mercy, grace, and love we are called to show. You can disagree with someone’s beliefs, lifestyle, sexuality, etc. but that doesn’t mean you have to act hateful or let hate fester in your heart. I personally have my own beliefs and of course I want all my friends to believe but I can’t nor do I want to force my beliefs on anyone. So guess what, I act like Christ would want us too. I love them, I help them when they need it, and I try live the values of mercy, charity, and love.

What people seem to forget is that same-sex married couples are adopting a child, who didn't have parents to be raised by. This already implies a better living condition for the child than it was before, since many orphans struggle to even get adopted by a family in the first place. Furthermore, even if one considers it a "sin", not every sin should be prohibited by law. Most theologicians would agree with this, for "faith is not for everyone."

I’m Mormon and gay. I fought with my sexuality for a long time. I tried to force myself to be straight, but it never worked. I ended up getting married to a woman who fully understood that I was gay. We are still married to this day, and we have kids. It’s extremely difficult to maintain a marriage like this. We are basically just best friends, and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. I want to make it very clear that my choice is not possible for most gay people. We both have very low sex drive, and the sexual part of our marriage isn’t as important as most people. The interesting thing about the Mormon church view of gay people is that they do not believe gay people go to hell, and that it’s not our job to judge gay people, but love them. The sad part is that many members refuse to acknowledge that teaching of the church, and as individuals choose to create an inhospitable environment for gay people. It sucks so bad. If anyone has questions about what my life is like, feel free to ask them. I’m very open about who I am.

I'm a Christian and I often see so many people in the church community getting the message wrong. Firstly God sees all sin as equal, the man that practices homosexuality is no different than the man that sleeps around, the man that is addicted to alcohol, or the man that steals. Secondly in America the church and state are separate for a reason, god gave us the free will to choose. Christians should not have a problem with gay couples getting married by law. Finally, if you believe that Jesus is the way and the truth, you have to give up all lustful desires. As a heterosexual man I was born with the desire to sleep with as many woman as I can. Jesus teaches that God created sexuality for the purpose of procreation. If a gay man or a straight man that has sex outside of marriage comes into the church and says, "What I do in the bedroom is not sinful." That is a contradiction to what they believe. God gave us the free will to chose so if you don't believe in Jesus there is nothing wrong with what you do privately. Love your videos man keep up the good work and God bless! ✝🙌

All human life is sacred, therefore, toying with the power to create human life is sacrilegious. Those gay kids' parents didn't tell them to self-delete; they decided to do so themselves. Their parents should have instilled in them that their life is a gift from God, and you NEVER look God's gift horse in the mouth and kick in its teeth! Those parents also should have taught them that 'they can, of course, repent of sexual sin, but there is no such thing as complete repentance for self-deletion bc you can never commit restitution, and that would put them square in the Telestial kingdom' (not really sure about the spelling, tho). When kids self-delete, I blame the mother. Almost 100% of the time, when someone self-deletes, they understood that their mother didn't have their back, and when your mother didn't have your back, you don't think anyone else could ever have your back, either. Even for senior citizens who off themselves, their mother didn't teach them that 'if you are still alive, there is still hope, bc once you enter the spirit world, repentance and communicating, BOTH, become VERY DIFFICULT. If you think life in this world is unbearable, how tough are things going to be when you're stuck in a realm you CAN'T LEAVE, and you still have all the inner turmoil, and addictions, and you can do ALMOST NOTHING about them??? The cartoon was from my childhood religion (cult), and I hate the cartoon. I am a straight female who left that religion. I believe that gay, lesbian, trans, and bisexual should have rights as much as I do. I watch your video and I’ve never disagreed with you, but it’s not rocket science just be nice to me and respect me and don’t try take my rights away and I will always do the same for anyone. But nowadays people making being queer (If that offends you, I didn’t mean it.) their whole personality and I hate that. I have so many friends that Im close to now or life separated us due circumstances or moving. I miss people just being who they were not attacking me missing the pronouns or say that im anti-gay because I’ve seen Pride parades and I don’t think appropriate for children. Anyways I’m venting and I’m sorry. I like your videos because it makes me feel like not crazy because I’m not anti-gay. Also I did mention the religion that I was a part of as a child. If you want to know, I can spill the tea but I’m respectful to most people. Thank you so much.

This was such an excellent video. I think it would be awesome if you’d do one about the homophobia in the gender movement - the “trans lesbians” who harass lesbians to s their “girl d”, the “trans guys” who call gay men homophobic slurs if they won’t date a trans guy… the parents who trans their kids who they suspect will be gay (look up Kai Shippley. It’s a very sad story, and the things his mom has admitted to on camera - like researching conversion therapy techniques for her preschool aged child - are blood chilling). Gender ideology is based on the same homophobia and misogyny these religions are, just in a different form. Like in Iran, where the penalty for being gay is the death sentence… or transition.

I have a gay cousin. A couple of years ago he came out...sorta. For context, our family is conservative and baptist, especially their family. He linked a google doc in his IG that said how he has come to an understanding that he's gay but because of his religion he will not be practicing his sexuality. He will force himself to be straight instead because that's what god wants. A week or two ago he was talking about wanting to find a wife and have 6 children and it made me so incredibly sad. I had tried to talk to him about it and he said he had tried things out and tried accepting himself as is but it sent him to such a dark place due to his strong, strong baptist faith. This was his choice. Love him to death, but as we grow older, i truly worry for his future. I have my feelings about certain family members and how they display their faith, but seeing how it has affected him to such a core level makes me ill when I think about it. It's awful and i hope he finds a way to truly accept himself

One sad day in the future he will breakdown and might hurt himself or people around him because of how much he repressed himself. Conversion and repression never really works out. In the end they still think of what could have been. It's odd that he's still punishing himself in an age where people are more accepting of it though. I understand back in the day but now? Your cousin is setting himself up for misery or worse, a tragedy. I hope it never comes to that.

I myself do not "Support it" in the sense that I'm not going and flaunting this and that. However, I RESPECT the crap out of Lgbtq+ peoples because at the end of the day were all people. I don't really know either way but technically this isn't provable. it's just something people have come to accept. But theres really no reason to believe either is true. We have no actual evidence of either. Recent liberal news outlets have reported that lgbt parents are more likely to have kids that "identify" as the same thing. So to fully just take environment out is probably not right either. Kids try to be like people they look up to.

It's really difficult to feel like I'll find a community where I belong and am accepted as is. My church will never accept my sexuality. My friends who support the LBGT+ don't support my faith. I'm told the solution is either to "choose not to be gay", to choose celibacy, or to abandon my faith. I view religion and my relationship with God separately, but I really would love to be part of the community that's part of my faith. Living in the Southern US in small town area, that's not really an option right now. I could move, but I love my family and they live here. I haven't come out to my parents because I know they will never accept my sexuality. I still love them, but that's also hard. And it's hard to talk about it, because you get people who berate you for still loving people who don't accept all of you. As if I need more rejection... Thanks, Amir, for this video. I hope more people will listen and become more accepting...

22:00 that commercial pisses me off. I came from a religious straight couple with an alcoholic mother who was exceedingly neglectful and essentially nonexistent for a bulk of my life thanks to the bottle. Marriage between a man and woman no way guarantees a happy family. Being Christian no way guarantees a happy family. Furthermore if the mom in the ad was a good mommy, she’d be kind and just help the other kid up instead of shaming him.

The only time I ever heard them talk about gay people is when they said "it shouldn't matter if you see a man in church holding hands with another man" and the topic of discussion was that we are all brothers and sisters and that in gods eyes you are not black, white, gay, straight, disabled, able bodied,rude,kind you are his child and no matter what he will always see you that way

As a straight person, if you were told that you aren't allowed to be straight, to love the opposite sex, and regardless of the love and attraction you feel towards the opposite sex, and that you cannot act on it or be sexual with them because it's a sin, how would you feel? Doesn't that seem like nonsense to you, that something you absolutely didn't choose, you're supposed to not "act on" because you are told it's wrong. You're supposed to live a whole life not enjoying the same love and sex that other people have because you just happened to be born the wrong way? I'm gay and a Christian. I spent over a decade praying God would make me not gay, praying he'd strike me dead if it truly was such a sin and the only choice I ever had was to never act on my feelings and love. I'm still here alive and kicking. Maybe it's not so wrong after all. The Bible has been translated thousands of times and humans corrupt everything they touch. Maybe it wasn't God's message about gay people, maybe it was the Jewish people angry at the Romans and their ways.
@DennysMakesMusic

@hydrogeddonn you took a medsage about love and twisted it to an attack. For a little background i am gay myself, but i dont let myself fall to that, life isnt so easy but ive found a girl that i like, i still have urges, but instead of living in sin, i turn to god and dont let myself do that, im no perfect being, but i try my best to not let sin corrupt me. And again, my initial comment was not an attack on gay people i was mentioning how my church responds to sinful nature. If you want to be gay be gay, but dont let it drive you away from God
@hydrogeddonn
3 ай бұрын
@@DennysMakesMusic My dude, I didn't think it was an attack, nor did I take it as one. I simply was going over a thought exercise, a way to look at how despite what straight people think, despite what the Bible, or other religions say, I am that I am. A man who loves men and didn't ask for it. If God sees that as a sin so be it. But God is a loving and forgiving God and he can read my heart and know where I'm coming from. If we both go to heaven and I've lived a life of romance and honesty unto myself, for the lot I was given in life, but you are also there, but were celibate your entire life and trying to be something you aren't, what then? First God loved Adam and Eve and He told them not to eat of the tree. Then God loved the Jews, He told them to follow his commandments. Then God loved the gentiles, and sent his son to die for our sins and to show his love to everyone. God has been teaching us throughout time who he is and what he stands for. I believe far more in his forgiveness than his wrath. God didn't change his mind to suddenly accept different people into heaven over time. He has an intent behind that message. If straight people can do what they please for the most part without fear of damnation then I will do so as well.
