Final Destination 5 (prequel) begins the cycle. Sam ultimately was the real culprit that undid deaths original design. Because of that Death had find a final solution to the issue. I think when Sam had that premonition he became the first in a series of ripples in Death's design. Sam being on the plane was never a part of the original plan and so his very existence on the plane was probably the reason why Alex was able to have a vision to begin with. Of course everything after FD-5 happens. So The Final Destination aka FD-4 is the final chapter so far. There is a 6th film that had been in the works for a while

Well since you're not watching the fourth, I'll say it. The implication in the fourth movie is that Death is the one giving the premonitions. So, everyone can die the way it wants them to. Which makes Death seem like a sadistic serial killer just screwing with his victims and making them think they have a chance to escape. As for the Coroner, he's never explained and there are so many theories about him. He works for Death, he is Death, or he made a deal with Death to extend his life. Either way, this movie also puts him on the sadistic streak for telling them they need to kill another to live.

@kool2btrue

To be fair that is just a theory at the last moment of a character in FD4. Since then, it has been contradicted by the comics and by the series creators. The comics mention it is the goddess of Death giving people premonitions since Death (separate entity) forced itself into reality. It has been implied by the creators that another entity, whoever that may be, gives them premonitions to balance out Death. The premonitions seem to be given to whoever can save the most lives. But in all honesty it is just inconsistent. Fun fact, an alternate ending of FD4 shows the protagonist giving up his life early to break the pattern and reset Death's list. Once again, the visions can just be a clue to the protagonist to just "Eff yourself off" to save the others' lives.

They were always supposed to die this way on flight 180. There is no taking someone else's life, or saving a life to stop the order. Death is an entity and it planned everything out from the start. Block was always supposed to die in that restaurant. Think of the kid that died at the end of the 2nd movie. His "death avoidance" was not the same as the characters of that movie. Each one of them avoided a natural death with others involved because of the deaths of the characters from 1. However the kid, would never have died in the van accident if the characters had not crashed in their field. So what I am saying is that at the start of the 2nd movie, that kid is already destined to die at the grill explosion, he just reaches that point through Death's machinations.

As someone who watches a lot of reaction videos, it really sucks that the people who make such videos accurately predict what’s going to happen or the ending because it ruins it for people who were excited to see how you’d react to the twist. When you accurately predict the ending it takes away from the twist. I think a bit part of the problem is how close you watch these movies together. For example if you watch one a few days to a week after the previous one, it’s still kinda fresh in your mind so can tie things together easier and make pretty good predictions. When these movies originally came out, we had to wait at least a year for the next instalment so it was less fresh in our minds meaning we didn’t predict things that well. There were a lot of years between the first and and the last movie so the chances of us connecting the flights to Paris in both movies was much lower than someone that watched both movies in the space of a month. It’s kind of unfortunate really

The whole bridge collapse sequence just freaks me out. I've been across the Sunshine Skyway bridges (new and old) hundreds of times and you can't help but think about the 1980 collapse every time across. Used to unnerve the hell out of me as a kid driving on the remaining span and seeing exactly where the other one had torn away and dropped into the bay.

He's just desperate to live. His argument about molly living was just him needing a reason to do it.

I like how this series acknowledges that lucky charms are able to protect you, and of they are broken you are vulnerable.

Candace lost her grip, tumbled, and got impaled; which is “kinda” how she actually dies. Isaac fell with the bus to the water, which most likely would have crushed him in some fashion; Olivia… 😖 I hate her death it makes me afraid to ever even try to get lasik. It literally gave me a phobia… anyway… in the premonition she loses her balance, loses her glasses, and has to blindly stumble until she loses grip and falls into the water, before being crushed by a falling car. Her ACTUAL death winds up being quite similar again, she’s blinded, unsteady and stumbling, and she dies due to a car… Roy technically gets Nathan’s death (he gets a hook through the neck, attached to a cable… Nathan’s bridge death was being ripped apart by one of the bridge cables as it snapped…) Dennis’s death is completely different then from the bridge though… in the vision he was basically skinned by hot oil and tar… so he was burned to death… but in the factory he’s killed by a wrench flying through his head… I wonder if that means something? How the deaths changed methodologies AFTER Nathan accidentally killed Roy and took his remaining life.

12:10 Tony Todd is a horror and Sci Fi movie Icon. Whilst he is best know for his role as CANDYMAN, his other nods include portraying Ben in the Night Of The Living Dead remake, and playing as Worf's brother, Kurn, in Star Trek: TNG

The weirdest part of this movie to me is the character, Isaac Palmer. He's played by PJ Byrne, who voices Bolin in The Legend of Korra. seeing Bolin be such a creep is so weird. Also, my mother was a gymnast, and even when this movie first came out, that scene was the funniest in the whole series to us.

These movies do scare me bc they show you that everything around you can play a factor in your death, you can die at any moment and in the most stupid and simple way possible and we don't realize it, we always think about the death as a spectacular and big accident when we are always on the edge between life and death

Yup I remember on the news.. I think last year, some guy attempted suicide at target by driving off the second floor parking structure....unfortunately a girl was walking at the wrong time... the car crushed her 😔 Also a girl on KZitem was sucked in by that suction device at the bottom of a public pool. She was 5 years old .... she didn’t die but had severe injuries. It left her disabled. She’s now makes make up videos and what not.Something similar happened in final destination 4... the guy getting suctioned in the public pool. I thought that wasn’t possible but apparently it is 😭

Haha loved your reactions to this😂😂! I've had both my eyes lasered (I had holes in my retinas) and that metal thing that keeps your eyes open, is not bad at all because your eyes are numb. My pupils had to be dialated, which was actually the worst part. The actual laser does start to burn after a while though (2 hours of laser).🔥👀🔥

my theory always was that the agent was meant to also be on that plane and because sam wasn’t going to take that job that wasn’t meant to be his death, let alone molly’s and so because they ended up on the same plane the agent was supposed to be on that they got his plane death and started the events from the first

It'll always make me chill how Sam's very presence on Flight 180 is essentially what triggered Alex's premonitions, since Death wasn't done with Sam yet, which inadvertently caused Molly's death, despite her being the sole survivor in Sam's bridge premonition.

It's funny. The death in the acupuncturist office annoys me because acupuncture needles are so much smaller than what they used in the movie. So that one never bothered me, I go to acupuncture every week. However... this one scared me off Lasik. my eyesight will just have to stay terrible. LOL.

Dudes, my dad was flipping thru channels on mute at a hotel we were staying at and the rest of us were sleeping. I happened to be peeking when the premonition of that one guy falling off the bridge and going SPLAT and then the metal slicing the other guy was playing (my dad immediately skipped it but it scarred me pretty hard lol)

I don't do gore and horror, but I do read the spoilers, just to see if they use something new, and when I got to the twist, I had to applaud them.
