Hi Jack and Buck! Thanks for standing up for women, guys!! It is really important and appreciated! Yes, a lot of men get off on scaring/shocking/ even traumatizing women. It has always been like that. We know them a mile off.

@@JackxJewell I hope so! Those men will always exist, it is just a fact of life :) But it is important that people recognize this and don't just give anyone who claims to be a woman, the title "woman". Hopefully those in charge of these things will one day realize that!

I am not ok with it but women face so much blow back if they speak up! They are called Karens, thrown out of gyms and told we are transphobic! It's not that women are ok with it, we just don't want to through all the crap.

Another part I hate about that guy's story is how the house is now seen as "the most unique house in town". People don't transition to stand out. This makes it sound like you should transition for attention.

I dislike how this supposed "pro trans" book the guy wrote makes it seem like "cis" people are bland and boring like the grey houses and the other house that i assume represents trans people is all colourful and fun. It gives a very weird impression but also doesnt fit well with how the majority of trans and gay people wanna live, that is to blend in and be normal. Like it is very bothersome when gay people get sensationalized when straight people dont. Its as if being gay isnt just an accepted thing like being left handed. This sensationalism around lgbt people is probably at least one reason why being trans and all those other labels like nonbinary became so popular. People actually do something similar to conditions like autism, showcasing them as some fun quirky thing rather than the hardships of having such a condition

The mainstream ‘community’ encourages people to need to be ‘celebrated’ and given special attention because of the category they are in. It doesn’t promote blending in at all anymore. It’s in the term ‘queer’

I personally don't like bland interiors, I've been looking for a house & they are all neutral & boring. I hate when they change or cover up the original style from when they were built in the '50s & '60s, and try to appeal to everyone but really bore people like me. This doesn't make me trans, though! So his story didn't make sense to me. Nice ryhming, though.

kids should be kids. if they seem to be heading in a different way then that's special and to be handled properly when I was a kid I was a little tomboy. I'm 57 now and I'm still into things that are traditionally male - cars etc. bit also handicrafts... gender was never even a discussion. Since I was born in 67, it was never a thing. one of my friends did trans. no one ever told us it was a choice. it just went fine anyway

Is there a female version of autogynophelia? Autopeniphelia I suppose, if it exists. I’ve never heard of a female version so I'm just curious if there is such a thing. Are they quieter? Trans men certainly seem quieter than trans women in general

Autogalnophelia? 😂 No but I wondered this too. Maybe, if it is a thing, with the female version it isn’t generally shoved in other people’s faces.

They are called auto-androphiles and do exist more commonly than previously thought. I think they are women who like yaoi stuff and fetishize these cutesy depictions of gay men and then turn themselves into that fetish.
@baconsarny-geddon8298

"Autoandrophilia"- It's a more controversial, rarer, less recognised term, but some people believe in it. (Personally, I'm dubious. Women have MUCH lower rates and intensity of fetishism, than men. Male and female sexuality are fundamentally different, because of the fact that pregnancy is 100% asymmetrical, so the sexes each have very different sexual incentivizes. A man is incentivized to basically have as much sex as possible, with any partner, because sex has basically no cost to him. Sperm are resource-cheap, easy to replace, and there's literally millions of them. Biologists call this reproductive strategy "spray and pray". But women risk pregnancy, every time they have sex- Which could cost them huge amount of resource, and many years of their life. So they're incentivized to make sure they ONLY have sex with a man who (1) is genetically fit enough, to create a healthy baby, worth that hassle, and (2/ a man who's commited enough, that he won't just vanish to look for other woman, but will hang around, to stop her being eaten by a sabertooth tiger while she's vulnerable in childbirth, and help her raise the kid. That's not even just in humans, but in All mammals, sex is a buyer's market for females, and a seller's market, for males. This is why the whole idea of "trans" fails- Because male and female are fundamentally different; You can't just put one into the role of the other. And for the same reason, you can't just take something that applies to one sex, and assume it works the same (or even similar) for the other sex . Men and women each have their own, unique patterns in psychology and sexuality. There is extremely few cases (none?) where you can just look at a pattern for one sex, and assume it's the same for the other sex.

its called autoandrophilia. its a lot rarer because women are much less likely to have paraphilias in general, but it does exist. although for autoandrophiles, they usually specifically fetishize gay men, not just men in general.

To act like it’s not offensive for someone to think a biological woman is a man/trans… don’t trans people say it’s offensive to be misgendered? How is it not obvious that it would be offensive to a woman to hear that? “Rules for thee, and not for me.”🙄

That one with the children's nursery rhyme is a flawed metaphor. Because a neighborhood like that with houses all in a row would 100000% have an HOA and they would NEVER let a house be painted rainbow on the outside!!! 😆😆😆 That might actually work within the confines of that metaphor though, because on some level, everyone has to fit in with society. If you don't, you'll be cast out. Sorry, that's just the way it is. Also, transitioning would be more like making structural changes to the house, not just painting it.

we should let kids know that what you are is ok. Also that there are things that are trickier to sort but that most people are actually what they were born as and if a very few aren't then tht's also ok. I'm 57 regular woman. as a kid we were all just kids. as we grew up we were what we were. one turned out to be trans, 2 turned out to be gay. noone of us were bothered. all we cared was 1. were they nice and good friends ad 2 how could we support them exactly as we suported other friends. we never even thought about it. that was the 1970s and early 80s

Not the intended thing, but the inside of the haunted-looking house looks like mine inside, with all the colors! I love painting my walls. I live in a boring gated community where all the houses are beige stucco, but the inside is my personality. His book would have been cool if it was about expressing your personality, and not about being trans!
