Not being stupid, the marks matter to you and I understand that. BUT moving forward: Do NOT focus on marks, otherwise you will stagnate your learning and understanding, and it can actually create a type of writers block, where you overthink everything and write an overly descriptive answer, which at second year could be detrimental. Instead: focus follow this method: 1) focus on the module as a whole then 2) focus on the assessed topic(s). Submerge into the law, like fully submerge. Nothing else in your mind but the law, nothing but your studies. Your focus determines your reality. If you focus entirely on the reading, and I meant depth of research and reading (not textbooks), then you will write better naturally and the marks will follow. So forget about marks, focus on learning, research and writing quality, and the marks will follow. 👍🤪👍

Well done. My firm choice university gave me an unconditional to do law and politics in July so I'm really happy, but also curious what my a level grades are going to be.

Hello Beth, all I can say about A-levels is don't worry too much! If you worked hard that's all that matters. I didn't finish my A-Levels due to personal circumstances and did a fastrack course. Congrats on your unconditional offer and you will do amazing at your university of choice!

I got my results from my first year studying law. I got an average of 73 so a first! Don’t get disheartened, just think if you didn’t do law with crim you would have probably got a first!

My tort exam is after 2 days. It would be helpful if you could clear up my confusion on Occupiers Liability in terms of children. Will they be considered as lawful visitors or trespassers? And what if they enter into the premises ignoring the warning notice as they are too young to understand that. Cheers to your success.

www.nelsonslaw.co.uk/occupiers-liability-protecting-children/ Hope this helps its explained a bit better. Children are just expected to be less careful than adults so may ignore warning signs etc.

Why do people keep saying "high 2:1" 🤣🤣 no one cares about percentage. A 2:1 is a 2:1.
