Music is born from silence between the notes. Otherwise it’s just an endless stream of noise. In the silence is stillness and in stillness is all that is. Vagrant is like a wanderer, Earth we, the voyagers remain in awe as we travel on spaceship Earth through the stars.

i think this reaction will be one hour + ;) and i´m happy with it i just wanted to suggest the same thing, but then i saw yours specially that "one day" .... TGSOE should be after a lot of other Nightwish songs, i use to say "Do this when you think you won´t be surprised by them anymore ..."

It is more about the beauty and wonder of the natural world and our place in it.. Yes evolution. We are on Earth as is travels thru space endlessly. Music, nature, and the wonder of it all. Do not focus on religion. Only on appreciation for the human experience and our existence among this amazing reality of life.

I must say again, it is so refreshingly rare to see a reactor who automatically goes to deep thinking philosophical thought on Nightwish's lyrics. Most everyone either ignores the lyrics entirely or attempt to give very shallow or straightforward, literal interpretations. But you always, thus far, have managed to hit the nail on the head almost immediately! Evolution of life on Earth, and if we take the time to contemplate it properly, we shudder in awe before its beauty. Great reaction once again!!

Tuomas is a secular person so relating his lyrics as a search for God or Heaven is not the way to go. This album is about the universe, earth, evolution, etc. He has mentioned God in a couple of his songs, but if you want his interpretation of religion then give a listen to "Weak Fantasy". It's chock full of metaphors. 😊🤘 kzitem.info/news/bejne/lquIsnijjl98o20si=wZCp-QWcFk_2DYI_

I am not entirely sure what you mean by his interpretation. Tuomas is not against religion and he speaks very nicely about religion in some perspective. Many thinks that Weak Fantasy is more about specific things in religion and especially in one religion. He has a religious upbringing. He has not denied existence of God in his interviews or in lyrics. Religion and science are not necessarily totally excluding each other. It is more about what is done by using religion as an excuse or how some people interpret religion. More or less quoting what he has said.

@@kimmomatikainen1843 What I mean is Tuomas has said that he doesn't believe in God, but respects those that do.

Tuomas has a ton of great lyrics... this song has one of my top 5s... "The music of this awe, deep silence between the notes, deafens me with endless love..." I think my fav is from Dead Boy's Poem... "So much to live for, so much to die for... if only my heart had a home." That one gets me every time I hear it, even after 100's of listens.

🤘This song is the opener for the incredible album Endless forms most beautiful. And you will come to the last song of it. The greatest show on earth. Named after the book of Sir Richard Dawkins.🥰

Fantastic reaction to this banger of an opener at the sold-out Wembley Arena Nightwish concert in 2015. Tuomas, the keyboardist and composer of 90+ percent of all Nightwish songs is a musical and lyrical genius. Loved this and keep these Nightwish live reactions coming.

The short guy is Emppu, and he’s always smiling and goofing around. Marko was the other vocalist, and yes, he’s got some pipes too!

You actually are not far off on your interpretation of this song at all! Few are even able to get through Tuomas's deeply poetic artistry within the lyrics so give yourself a pat on the back!

Nightwish is like a fine wine. The lyrics 90% are written by Tuomas the keyboard player. Nightwish members are mainly Agnostic the believe in science but then again that makes it sound like a religion i meant they follow science's logic. I see science as a tool not a religion personally i believe in a higher power but everyone has personal choices and we respect that. I worked security for 20 years great job. Nightwish has many variety of sound keep up the great journey.

Nice👍.You have a very intellectual aproach to Nightwish songs /lyrics,i like that ,it's not so much done, probebly also because of the very poëtical writing of Tuomas and the different interpretations people get from it and sometimes, being afraid to be wrong🤭. It's just nice ,to hear how different people have their understanding of the lyrics👌. Keep up the good work.🤘 Greetings from Spain.

The song is from the album "Endless forms most beautiful", a quote of Darwin from "the origin of species". For sure this album is about evolution. We are travelers on out pale blue dot in space. Many hints to this will be in the song "the greatest show on earth".

Tuomas Holopainen always says "The song means what the song means to you". But I'm quite sure after 2005, he's no longer referring to a God. Nature, the miracle of life (the scientific approach) is his religion. (But no can be certain, so technically agnostic)
