Lifetime Giants Fan here. That game was incredible, hats off to the Dodgers for a well played game. Literally any other outcome than what happened Thursday night would have left me satisfied. Strike out looking down the middle. Homerun caught at the wall. Literally anything. The Giants by all accounts had a improbable season and I was just enjoying the ride like hell, but for it to be ended by a clear no swing call FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES. That's rough man. The Dodgers earned the W, but the umps gotta let the Giants themselves make the final out.

There was one in the ALCS too where Nathan Eovaldi was in for relief in game 4, I believe it was a 1-2 count with 2 outs but he threw a pitch that was clearly in the strike zone and Laz Diaz called it a ball. It changed the game and the series because on the next pitch, the Astros took the lead and ended the top of the 9th with 7 runs in the inning. All 7 runs came in after that blown call. And that is illegal in our league. turns out they were cheating by drafting players from the 13-14 league and we were i the 9-10 league. and after the season ( we won the championship) the coaches were banned from coaching baseball and every player was sent back to their correct league

There was one call (i didn't really understand) that I think was pretty bad. It was Dodgers vs Cubs and I think the game that started the first eleven-game losing streak this year. The Cubs hit what appeared to be a home run but the ball "disappeared" behind the foul ball pole and was not counted? I need to find the clip and look at it again to see, but the call was what lost the game. edit: I looked up the game, it was the one that started our 11 game losing streak. June 26- 7th inning off Jason Heyward. The ball "disappeared" behind the foul ball pole and was called on the field fair, challenged (the ump wanted to look at it anyway), overturned, and then challenged again by the Cubs. The thing is for that game we were tied until the 9th where dodgers walked it off. If we had the lead we would have put Kimbrel in (when he was having a great year) and most likely would have won.
