Aurora operates on her highest energetic vibration, and that's what makes you want to know her! She moves, quite simply, from soul. It's a beautiful privilege to discover her!

The contrast between the sweetness of the voice and the hardness of the lyrics . This is about a murder in a toxic relationship...probably it's the prequel of Murder song
@iramage2235

afaik she wrote the murder song after reading an article about a husband who killed his terminally ill wife to free her from her pain and suffering, so not likely that it's a prequel to this one

Hello, you know AURORA and have described her very well. You have chosen a very good song. AURORA is the queen of harmonies. This is a masterpiece. I find it interesting that the lyrics are so sad (violence in relationships leading to death) and on the other hand the music is very beautiful (harmonies) and doesn't give me that sad feeling. The music is more soothing. This contrast struck me in many of her sad songs. Does she want to spread hope? You can change something. You can't let it get to that point. And then everything is better. An invitation to change something, to change yourself. You have it in your own hands. Is that what this contrast is supposed to do? And let's not forget that this was sung live on a radio station. Many artists want this perfection when they go into a studio and after many, many attempts have recorded their song. And let's not forget that this perfection would not have been possible without her accompaniment and backing vocalist. Silja Sol is also an outstanding singer and musician. AURORA is lucky to work with such good artists. Or is it her ability to choose the right ones? This is also the case with the Murder song at the Nobel Peace Prize concert - as you have already seen. I can recommend 2 very different songs: Would you like to hear a completely different AURORA? Then check out these songs. AURORA songs are somehow always different from the others, but I think these two are special. You wouldn't expect anything like that from AURORA. At least I think so. - Apple Tree - kzitem.info/news/bejne/oqyG4KuBin2Lh5g --> "Apple Tree is about the potential that hides in all of us. We can all save the world if we put our minds to it. The world won't listen to scientific proof that the world is dying, so maybe it will listen to the dreamers, the children. In a bleeding world the power of the individual is our only hope. Let her save the world. Let him save them all. Believe in us, and maybe we'll be the generation that saves the world, rather than the one that killed it."

Stunning! It sounds so beautiful, despite the terrible lyrics (what happened quiet there?😶)... The lady who harmonizes with Aurora is Silja sol, who leads her own solo career now. They sounded so well when singing together like that, or with other members of the current band of Aurora. This performance is really amazing, and nearly unreal... Nice reaction to this "Live at Imladris/Rivendell"🙂, from the singing eldar-like Lady, Aurora, and her fellow musician Silja Sol.🙂👍

@@johngatewood4638 Are you talking about Utøya? "Little boy in the grass" is about that, if I'm not mistaken, but I wouldn't say that about "It happened quiet". I would rather think of some bloody domestic violence. But hey, since her lyrics are open to interpretation...

@@Josian-ps7fb a recurring theme in her lyrics... soft place to fall,(runaway) is the ground colored red...as I land like a flower on the meadow. Murder song. So yes Utaya where 77 people.most of them teens were murdered by a white nationalist who claimed he did it for his LOVE of the pure Norwegian people.Aurora would have been a mid teen at the time. I'm sure the incident left an impression on many of the people who lost loved ones. But especially a young artist.

Thank you!! I have watched soooooo many reactions of this performance and you are only the second person to notice her crescendo on ‘voice’. I was quite literally clapping and yelling thank you in the moment! You have to be so tuned in to notice it, so the fact that you did says a lot about how actively you listen. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with passive listening, but as a reactor it’s kind of essential. Well played!

This is my interpretation too. Either sexual assault or emotional abuse, but the lines "feathers falling out of a pillow" and "I'll bleed in your bed" always seemed to imply sexual violence to me. The lines about landing "like a flower on the meadow", I interpret as emotional or spiritual destruction within a space that is supposed to be beautiful and nurturing. Really gorgeous imagery. I can't get over it.

Just an advisory - I love your reactions but you often look like your attention is divided between different sources. I don't know if you're looking up the lyrics or you're checking out other things about her but it looks, on screen, like you're distracted and completely disinterested in the video you're reacting to. I kinda hate it because it becomes obvious that you really care about the music as the video goes on but the early impression you give are really negative. I hope you can find a balance that suits you because I enjoy your comments and would love to see them reach a wider audience.

This is being done during a 4/5 hour livestream and there are a lot of things to manage during a livestream. If you had asked why that was the case I would have explained it to you but you went on to give advise on something without any context because you felt a certain way. If my comments and my reaction isn't enough then that's ok
