I agree with Alexis that these people in the media are not a reflection of everyone that is trans, but when people are being forced into this - like that girl - or silenced because they don't agree, you can hardly argue that as a group they are marginalized. Those girls were forced to get naked in front of a biological man and were exposed to man genitalia against their will. I totally agree. I used to follow Dylan Mulvaney, Jeffrey Marsh, etc. but I stopped. Dylan is disingenuous, it feels like it has been a project from the get go. From the beginning, Dylan had a hair and make up team, had dresses given to her, it was really like watching an ad, negating the pains (even just financials) and the struggles most trans go through. That is the point I stopped following. With JM I stopped not because I thought they were p3do, but because I felt they were inebriated with the power of the kindness they were portraying, but then every now and then you could see they had an hidden and unhealthy rage so, again, I unfollowed. because it was not organic nor genuine. And in contrast, this si why I adore Alexis. Her journey is authentic, she is discovering the wonderful woman we think she is and her journey is of love, not of rage, even when she talks about negative emotions and feelings (which exists, and do not need to be negated). I wish the best to Dylan, but most of all i wish her to find her true self, as it does not feel like she did so far. I was not a starter but like I would think about how to address someone I was not even addressing. It really depends on how you apply your logic on the seperate categories. They don't deal with AFAB issues. BUT I have a niece who is cisgender and she had basketball coaches from other teams wanting her off the court because she is 6'1" and her calves are the size of my waist. I feel like they are really trying to label women as less competent at things than trying to make things fair. When we are seeing people who are taking no hormones and were assigned female at birth now barred from various events because of T levels.... ugh. @@FoxDreamsI think it was the “cis woman” part. For the overwhelming majority of us, that is offensive. If you are trans then that being a label should simply represent your journey. Because for the vast majority of the existence of the species, a woman was simply a woman. To force a woman to take a label that we reject but then demand respect in turn…it’s less likely to happen. I am a woman. Alexis is a trans woman. @@umtic You don't decide what's offensive to other people. Offence is subjective, you don't find it offensive but that doesn't mean it's not used in a derogatory way by some people. And we don't generally speak Latin in 2023 so that's just an unnecessary thing to pull from, it's a strawman argument. Cis is used in a derogatory way by a lot of people and even if it isn't being used in a derogatory fashion, it's still an unnecessary term. Woman is the organic standard, trans is emulating that to treat dysphoria. Both are fine but trans is the outlier. The fact people have a problem with that seems to me to be transphobic. Woman is woman, it doesn't need a preface. Trans is emulating the female form to be perceived as a woman... therefore it gets a preface. @blondiemom25 Women do have moustaches and beards, from a few distinct hairs, to a lot. Conditions like PCOS for example, can mean women develop more facial hair, and actually have full beards. These women spend a lot of time and money and often experience great physical and social discomfort, but often receive nothing but derision and doubts cast on their femininity. However, if a male with a beard wears makeup and heels and wears a dress, for example Conchita Wurst, everyone accepts and celebrates that. I feel quite cross at these double standards. @@reddragonready The difference being when a man has stubble by the end of the day, no one thinks twice about it, but it's quite different for women. Women are socially supposed to be hairless, from their face, to their armpits, their legs, breast area, and nether regions. There are names for the degree of waxed hairlessness a woman is supposed to have between her legs. Personally I find the trend for adult women to have almost completely hairless bodies rather creepy...it replicates a pre pubescent state, but most dont even really think about that aspect of it. When women have hair on their face it is deemed unfeminine, manly and unattractive on a woman. A man can just grow his beard and moustache. Women spend time and money on laser treatments or electroylsis, waxing, depilatory creams, shaving, plucking, sugaring, threading...all to remove natural hair from their mature bodies because the pressure of the social norm is so great and the public and social censure so intense if you do not comply. Julia Robert's did not shave her armpits and was photographed at a premiere and it was an international story then, and revisited by Vogue nearly twenty years later. If a slightly hairy armpit caused that kind of attention, what do you think it's like for women who have hirsute faces?

How is Lia Thomas a cheat when you also acknowledge that *she* TIED with Riley Gaines, despite being taller? She clearly lacks the advantages people have lost their minds over. As for Dylan, you can find footage of her pre-transition, and her behavior hasn't changed. Dylan also uses she and they pronouns, indicating that her identity is feminine and nonbinary. Personally, I find her obnoxious and insufferable, but I don't think she's intentionally mocking women.

@@mxdahliabellefirst of all. He's a mediocre swimmer in men's sports for one. A biological man CAN and are physically stronger then women. We worked HARD as hell for womens sports and now we have biological men self identifying as women going into women's sports and killing us in them by beating our records, and taking our trophies and among other things. That's the problem, biology STILL is a factor in all of this. Men are biologically STRONGER than women and that will never change. That's THE problem, Riley has no problem with trans people competing in sports. But when it comes to biological women and sports, same with biological men in sports for their SAFETY they should have a seperate category for themselves so that away biological women are not getting hurt or losing their title to biological men. Just because you are a transwomen doesn't mean you deserve to be in women's sports. TRANSwomen are transwomen and women are women, and shouldn't be competing against us.

Amala’s point is that trans people are being given platforms to speak and that their words and feelings seem to be taking precedence over everyone else over in the US. They have a flag that’s hung up everywhere and if anyone has a different opinion (doesn’t want to call a trans person by their preferred pronouns or whatever, which is their right to do so) they could lose their jobs and receive threats to their life over it. That’s not being marginalized. That’s being put on a pedestal and receiving praise for simply existing and being seen in the right to call for violence, which is bullocks.

I am transgender and fully agree that trans people shouldn’t be a part of sports. Before I transitioned I was 6ft2 with a size 12 feet. I’ve lost an awful lot of muscle mass and shrunk (so far) to 5ft11 with a size 10 foot, but my bone structure is not on the same level as a woman’s. Although my strength has greatly decreased I think with training I could easily obtain an unfair advantage over biological women. Sometimes it comes down to making sacrifices to achieve the goals you want but there needs to be common sense. With things the way they are now, there is nothing stopping an elite level footballer for example transitioning and in 2 years entering the women’s game which would be madness. Just because sports are off the table doesn’t stop the million other interests people have from being accessible. Music can be a very open and caring community, something I can personally attest to. I think we as trans people need to accept that some doors are going to be closed for us but also remember the huge amount of open ones there are for us. We can’t expect people to bend over backwards to appease us and offer nothing in return. The craziest thing is that my views in some circles are considered transphobic , I just want to be treated as a human, the same way I treat everyone else.

It deescalated the interaction and gave everyone their space. ( The customer was suffering clearly from a dementia break from reality and couldn't place that their behavior was beyond inappropriate. My coworker could also see this and wasn't upset by the customers rudeness but was glad to be able to step away from the interaction without any escalation.) Management and coworkers should be trained on how to do this, it's completely bizarre to interact with customers this way no matter what.

No doubt the reporter is reacting to the attitude of the Trans gendered female. But it was wrong. Having grown up as "tomboy" I was often offended when my parents were asked at events we attended "How old is HE?". My parents took it in stride and as a result I began letting my hair grow, wearing dresses, being the young lady God meant for me to be. Now I'm not trying to compare my childhood experiences to those of a transgendered person, but these wild rants some of them have in public are just inappropriate (not to say bad mannered). I find it's easier to remain neutral (using a polite neutral pronoun) if unsure of someone's gender rather than to make them feel angry for my stupidity. She is conservative commentator (something like Matt Walsh in skirt). That's wahy, she do not have to meet a completely neutral decor. It's her show, to which she adds her own unique style. *Amala? She is simply the best.* Why? Because she was a SWJ lunatic herself, she saw through the depravity of the this modern cult, went through a catharsis, and is now open-minded, kind, but also fair, wise, and not afraid to criticize both extreme camps. An in the video: Amala didn't say that bad things don't happen to anyone (including trans people). She knows, that trans people have their struggles with they have to deal. But above all, she pointed to the fact that there are the most often appeared hypocritical and narcissistic people like Dylan M. in the media, who shout "we are oppressed",

The customer in the coffee shop refered to the person serving her as a womn, something like, "it's OK this lady is helping me". Dylan is NOT a trans woman, Dylan parodies women as too scared of a butterfly to go on a hike. He claims to be a 6 year old girl and got a contract to advertis tampax! I think the Australian reporter is, well how cvan i phrase this, In some states in Australia women cannot legally meet for a discussion or for a lesbian dating event without including trans women. In Scotland the rape crisis centres accept trans women as women. I now trans women are raped, and so are men, but a rape cricis centre should be a safe space and IMHO it should provide services based on sex. YOu said your self you are taller and stronger. Added to that, the way Scotland interprets the law a 'trans woman' is anyone who says they are, even if they have a beard, dress like a male, have had no hormones or surgery. So in Scotland a woman could go to a rape cricis centre and find her rapist there, because he has decided for that morning he is a woman. I know this sounds made up and crazy but it is not. And I now this doesn't represent you, you have a lovely nature and attitude, you are being true to yourself but there are quite a lot of men claiming to be trans just for a laugh, or for more sinister purposes. I'm frequently told on line to 'eat my girl dick'. Sarah Jane Baker, Karen White and Isla Bryson INHO have no place in women's prisons, toilets and safe spaces.

I’m so glad you voiced my opinion about trans women not being physically equal to natural women and competing in sports is UNFAIR. Do we have to create a new category for trans in non-team sports or should they be given a handicap in scoring? People are given handicaps in bowling and golf for performance, Lia should have been given more time on her swims to make it more comparable. And Lia with full make genitalia getting naked in the women’s locker room is a whole other level of disrespect and not creating a safe space for the female swimmers. Spock said the one will sacrifice for the many not the many sacrificing for the one. Lia apparently doesn’t understand that even in a locker room, women are more modest than men and we don’t run around fully naked in front of each other.
