Heya DGS, just wanted to express my condolences to you and your family, and also, I'm glad you stumbled onto one of the greatest acapella groups ever to grace the music scene! I've been a Home Free fan since they first showed up on The Singer competition years ago, and they never cease to amaze me! From songs like The Eagles 'Seven Bridges Road' to 'Champagne Tastes on a Beer Budget' to timeless classics like Vince Gills 'Go Rest High on That Mountain', they never fail to make me laugh, or bring me comfort when I'm down. In my 63 years, I've lost so many loved ones, I've lost count, and this song by the great Vince Gill lets those emotions out, and helps me deal a little better with my losses, as I'm sure it will do for you. I'm not a religious man by any means, but I do believe there's a higher power of sorts out there that pretty much has control over what happens on this blue marble spinning through space. My religion is to treat others the way I'd want to be treated, and it's worked pretty well for me over the years.😉 I hope to see you react to more of Home Free's stuff in the near future. They're definitely one of a kind in ANY music genre. Welcome to the 'Home Fries' family! 😍😁👍👍

I'm sorry for your loss. It's such a beautiful song, and I'm glad it spoke to you. I had an unexpected illness and death in the family earlier this year, and I really found Home Free such a comfort, whether it was making me laugh or just listening to wonderful music. Thank you for doing this reaction, and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Yeah, it's a sad one, but done so well too. I saw them do this live in concert and didn't really go to a concert thinking I would cry, but this song, beautiful, but sad. This one was live filmed by Country Rebel which is a large country music network. Home Free doesn't have a video for this one yet Try Home Free's Covers of "Can't Stop The Feeling," "Hillbilly Bone", or "Meant to Be" ( collab with Lisa Cimorelli), Their cover of "Castle On The Hill" is good to...everything is good.

I'm so sorry for your losses. To lose one love one is difficult but to lose two in such a short time is devastating (been there, too). I wish you, your boyfriend, and his family peace. I believe in the healing power of music and it's ability to reach and comfort those otherwise unreachable places in our hearts. I also believe that's what drew you to this gorgeous performance at this specific time. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Know you're not alone.

Please give my condolences to your boyfriend on the loss of his family members... On a lighter note, in my opinion the mark of a great song is the ability to bring out your emotions, wether it be happiness, joy, sadness, or love. One of the reasons I enjoy your reactions is because you are not afraid to show the emotions that the songs make you feel. God Bless

They featured Rob in this video, you'll find as you watch more of their work, that with the exception of their beat boxer, who I suspect doesn't _like_ the spotlight, (1. he's a founding member, 2. he *can* sing really well, but *very* rarely does and then always background. I think he isn't featured because he doesn't want to be) they basically take turns leading in their songs and videos. One song from them that I feel like might make you fell better is 'In The Blood', or, ohohoh, their cover of 'Can't Stop That Feelin' from trolls. Also I'm sorry for your loss and God bless.

Music, especially close harmony acapella, has the ability to sooth the soul. It's been a few weeks since the sadness in your boyfriend's family, but I'd like you to "meet" another wonderful acapella performer who can warm you heart and bring tears to your eyes. Julia Westlin produces layered acapella music videos using her voice, beat boxing, and an occasional bass line by her fiancee David MeShow. She covers a wide range of genres and time periods, but always delivers a unique ethereal sound. I hope you can find the time to view and react to Julia's cover (kzitem.info/news/bejne/uG6LuZiwol-dn4Y) of the 1961 Ben E. King classic "Stand by Me."
